Thanks👍
Look, I’m really just looking for a budget-friendly option here—something decent that won't break the bank. I'm talking in the ballpark of $1,000 up to $667. Does anyone actually know of a reliable laptop in that range? Also, if anyone has a specific model number or recommendation that fits the bill, please let me know.
Hey everyone—does anyone actually have a clue what the going rate is for a local choir? I’m looking at maybe two or three hours of work for a housewarming party and a church service.

So, does anyone actually have some solid intel on the bakery scene in San Francisco?? I’m looking for the lowdown on prices—and specifically, where the best spots are located. I'm interested in everything from small pastries to full-blown cakes.

I actually hosted my own event in San Antonio back in September—I think I had about 96 people with the band—and honestly, it was fantastic. I had three long tables set up right alongside the beach, plus the main one positioned vertically at the top (if you check their website, one of the venue photos actually features my buffet setup with the screen at the head). Everyone seemed genuinely happy with both the food and the service; they really seem to be striving to maintain a certain standard. My guests kept mentioning how incredible the beachfront location was—perfect for photos—and being able to step outside like that was a huge hit. Some people even went for a late-night swim after the buffet, or rather, an early morning 🙂

That idea about swimming crossed my mind too...👍 And those venue photos are absolutely stunning!! Though, looking through them, I don't see a dance floor anywhere?? Is there actually enough space for dancing??

The summer months are absolutely packed, but since we went during the second month, they actually had some availability left😍
It was $50 per person, though there is definitely room for negotiation (we didn't want the standard meal option, and since we handled the deposit at the very last minute, we ended up paying just $40 per person)😍
The servers were wonderful, and the food—especially the lamb, which caught me completely by surprise—was simply outstanding🙏
We even received a complimentary one-night stay in an apartment (though we eventually decided to extend it to two nights)😍
Honestly, you can work out just about any detail with Mateo, whether it's the decor, the menu, or the drinks...
He even let us host a welcome party by the pool, which was a massive hit with everyone👍
If there is anything else you need to know, please don't hesitate to ask😍

I’m still waiting for my better half to get off the cruise ship, so I haven't made it over to see the venue yet—but I am obsessed with those chairs. They look perfect in the hotel photos. Did you use any sort of covers for them, or did you leave them bare? If you happen to have a photo, I would be EXTREMELY grateful!!1🙂

Thanks everyone, you've been a huge help. 😍 The decision is final—San Antonio won out. 👍

Thanks, ladies...
mops0807—could you give me the lowdown on the service? How’s the food? And how far in advance did you have to book the hall? Regarding the pricing, I read somewhere that it was $35 plus $15 for drinks? Is that still the case?

I know we’ve already gone down the rabbit hole regarding deli meats—enough said there—but I’m asking for some help navigating a dilemma—or let’s call it what it really is, a trilemma. I’m torn between choosing Pirate, San Antonio, or Bolero. The catch? I’m only catering for about 90 people, maybe even fewer, which means I have an equal number of pros and cons for every single option. I’d love to get your take on this because, frankly, more heads are better than one!

Does anyone here actually know anything about The Three Tenors—or some group like that? I’ve had people raving about them lately, claiming they're absolutely incredible, but I'd love to get some actual opinions from you all before I commit.

Nicholas Brown84 said:Hey ladies, has anyone actually hired that DJ—you know, the one everyone keeps raving about—for a wedding? I’m pretty much ready to pull the trigger and book him based on the glowing reviews, but I’m such a neurotic planner that I need to know if there are any red flags I should watch out for... is he actually as good as they say?😉
The reception would be at a place called The Corsair, sometime in September... I haven't had a chance to check out the actual layout since I'm not in Los Angeles right now, so I was wondering if anyone who's been there for a wedding could tell me about the vibe? Like, do they use chair covers, or is it just those black chairs they have? If they do use covers, how does it actually look in person? (I’ll obviously be bringing in my own decor, flowers, and all that stuff), but just for a rough idea... what’s the aesthetic?
Also, does anyone know if you can grab some champagne outside near Times Square (the area by the Luxor) after the ceremony at Saint Jude? And if so, does anyone have a ballpark figure for what that kind of luxury is going to cost me?😉

I’m curious about that gusar situation myself—and is there any truth to the rumor that they won't take reservations on Saturday nights if the turnout is under 150 people?🤷

Greetings, everyone! I’ve been lurking on this forum for quite some time now—and honestly, thank you all—you’ve been an absolute lifesaver. I feel like I’ve finally tracked down everything I needed to know. There is just one glaring omission in my research: I haven't managed to snag the contact numbers for the makeup artists. Specifically, those names you keep mentioning—Antonije Guć and Goga—so if anyone would be kind enough to pass their info along, I would be incredibly grateful! I’m getting married next May, and since I am—admittedly—a total perfectionist when it comes to the details, I figured it’s better to start the grind early.
