Thanks so much... I don't know if you noticed, but we actually have matching wedding shoes (shoe be do!) and the same style of treats, isn't that just the cutest thing ever?

To be fair, I only managed to sample one of the cookies, but I certainly made quick work of two large slices of the cake. It was truly exquisite. I highly recommend her work. Here are a few photos.

I’m actually planning on swinging by Nothing Bundt Cakes later today to talk about ordering some treats myself! I had their sweets back in March and they were honestly delicious, plus the prices weren't bad at all. Does anyone know if their prices are still $22 or have they bumped them up since then?

Honestly, all these different regulations and guidelines are driving me absolutely bonkers... I feel like I'm losing my mind just trying to keep up! In one bakery, they told me everyone should have about a third of a pound of dessert, but then another shop suggested closer to half a pound per person. To top it all off, I was chatting with a woman at a wedding expo over at Madison Square Garden, and she told me that if I'm hosting 250 people, I should be looking at roughly 130 to 150 pounds of sweets—and that's without even counting any extra I might want to serve! I was just standing there completely stunned by that last suggestion. Can anyone please give me some real-world advice on how much dessert I should actually order for the reception hall and for our place? Plus, we’re having a big lunch the very next day, so I’ll need enough treats for that too...

Honestly, I’ve always felt like that icing is mostly just for the "wow" factor when you first see the cake, and yeah, it's totally edible! Personally, though, I’m not a huge fan of the texture—it’s kind of like biting into a piece of hard candy stuck to a sponge—so I usually just scrape it off before diving in, but hey, some people actually love it!
