Bravo band is absolutely fantastic... I actually hired them for a party once, and they completely blew everyone away. They might be a bit on the pricier side, but trust me, they are worth every single penny you spend.

If you ask me, Bravo band is absolutely perfect... I'll shoot you their number this afternoon once I get home.
Just wanted to drop a quick note to praise the banquet hall for their mashed potatoes—Castello-Kaštel Staffilić. Honestly, all the negativity you hear from people is nothing but pure fiction. We had our wedding there last Saturday, and both the service and the food were absolutely stellar... truly top-tier. Not to mention, they served homemade gnocchi with the beef stew... so, I highly recommend this venue if you're looking for quality.
Ladies, has anyone here actually tried those ABSUM cookies from the bakery in Columbus? I’m thinking about placing an order since they seemed pretty decent when I grabbed some on a whim...
Has anyone here actually ordered pastries from that bakery in Columbus—the one run by Accenture? I'm thinking about placing an order right now, so I'd love to hear your honest thoughts.
fadedpuma21 said:Hey ladies! So, I’m finally diving headfirst into the world of wedding planning—wish me luck. We’re looking at a guest list of roughly 110 to 130 people, likely somewhere in the San Francisco area. The goal is to find a venue within the city itself, maybe in one of the suburbs, or even out toward the outskirts. Since we have guests traveling in from New York City, I’d really love a restaurant that can also accommodate about 40 people overnight. I’ll be starting my venue tours soon, but I could really use some guidance before I head out. Honestly, I haven't the slightest clue how pricing works—is $32 per person considered a steal, or is $40 pushing it? What should I actually expect to pay, and what counts as "reasonable"? Quality is my priority, but I have zero interest in throwing money down the drain. If anyone happens to know what a standard prix fixe menu costs at Friends, Diocletian, or San Antonio, please let me know! :-) Also, what’s the deal with live music lately? Is $1,000 for a solo vocalist—someone in the vein of M. Boem—overpriced? And what would a group like Uber or The Beatles typically charge? On top of that, I need a ballpark figure for wedding videography, including photos and a physical album. We really need to nail down a rough budget first so we can figure out our next moves... I’m not sure if we’re already behind the curve, but we’re aiming for late April or May 2010. Thanks a million!
I'm having my reception at the Castello venue—$36 for a standard menu. Honestly, if you're looking at that timeframe, you might want to lock things in now since so many venues get booked up fast. A band will run you around $1,700... and expect to pay about $1,000 for a photographer.
Could someone give me a quick rundown of exactly which documents I need to pull together for a wedding? We’re doing the classic church ceremony... I know I have to head to the registrar first, but does anyone know how much lead time I actually need? My wedding is set for October 16th. it feels way too early to even be thinking about this...
I picked up some boxes at Target, and they're actually great—not too pricey either. Now, does anyone happen to know where I can track down some white and green decorative tulle? I'm looking to use it to spruce up the house and maybe even decorate the car....
Could you give me an idea of the approximate dimensions for those boxes? I just want to make sure they aren't oversized—I mean, who on earth is going to fill them with cookies if they’re too big? I actually gave Target a call and they confirmed they have them in stock... thanks!
Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up some cardboard pastry boxes for a bake sale around here? Target doesn't carry them, and they aren't planning on stocking them anytime soon...
Does anyone else have any idea when this makeup artist, Lucy Spagnuolo, is actually going to show up? I reached out to her to finalize the details for a wedding, but honestly, I felt a bit awkward even bringing it up.🙂

I've heard rumors about Matić being arrogant and difficult to work with, and apparently, you have to wait three months just to see the shots? Is there any truth to that?
Matic's work is incredible; he truly produces top-tier shots... even if you do end up waiting longer than three months for them.🙂)

Matić runs about $2333 just for the session itself... as for Fox News, I've only heard good things, and they offer various packages ranging from $590 to $1,200 depending on how many photos you want... personally, I find them a bit pricey... as for Studio IN, I'm not sure...
Scott Turner4 said:Anyone dealt with Getty Images out of Santa Monica before? A buddy recommended them for our wedding in San Francisco—if anyone’s actually used them, please let me know!!!!🙄
I caught their booth at a bridal expo once—honestly, the photos didn't exactly blow me away... though they aren't breaking the bank, either; the whole package runs about $1,100...
So, I’m relatively new here. My wedding is set for October 16th—we’ve booked the full five-piece lineup from brava band... and the venue is Castello. Could anyone please share their thoughts on the band or the venue?
