Does anyone know where I can grab some bulk poppy seed rolls around Indianapolis (maybe near Memphis or Columbus)?
Maybe try checking out the Free Press in VA? Here's their site if you want to poke around, though I'm guessing they’ll have way more variety in-store... plus, they're probably cheaper than Visa.
Thanks for the tip, but I actually stopped by Freehouse about a month ago and they were completely out of tile... It is possible they have restocked since then, so I will certainly give them another look!
Dear friends, I have a quick question for you all... Does anyone happen to know where in Indianapolis (Memphis, Columbus, or the surrounding areas) I might be able to purchase landscaping fleece by the roll or by the yard? I am looking for the most budget-friendly option. I did check out a shop in Vicksburg, but they only carry pre-cut strips. I see that DTP has it listed online, $41 specifically for 20 meters at a width of 0.5 meters—but there is also the matter of the shipping costs, $15. In your opinion, is that a steep price to pay? 🤷 I recall someone mentioning something about landscape fabric earlier in this discussion; I have been scrolling through the thread trying to find that specific advice, but I simply cannot seem to track it down... 🙄
Keira, you really ought to take a look at this: http://dundoslastice.com/index.php They are located right over in the Suburban Neighborhood. I have personally ordered everything from individual pastries to full cakes and even wedding tiers from them, and they truly are stunning; besides, every single guest I've ever had has raved about how delicious they taste. 😉
frozenangler87 As I have noted before, one must consider the broader implications of such matters. There is also some talk going around that there is a shopping center located somewhere near Orašje that carries Di Capriov suits, and apparently, their prices are quite reasonable! If all else fails, at least we can enjoy a little friendly banter over some good old-fashioned cheeseburgers! 🤣
I find myself in complete agreement with the most recent point made here. 😁 So, where exactly around Orašje are we talking about? All I’ve heard lately is some chatter regarding a suit shop over in Bosanski Brod. I’m actually planning a trip out toward Orašje myself quite soon—mostly just to stock up on groceries and perhaps make a quick stop at Aroma. 😉)

So, basically, my husband and I were walking past Rahelad's Photo studio last night to check out some wedding shots, and I just spotted this one girl in the most amaaaazing wedding dress. It wasn't just your typical off-the-rack boutique gown; it had this intricate smocking all through it and a super modern cut—it was just... wow! I was honestly obsessed, it looked so gorgeous! Now, I'm not sure if everyone here knows what smocking actually is, but if anyone happens to know how much a dress like that would run, I would be so incredibly happy to know! I took a quick picture, but I feel kind of awkward posting someone else's photo on a forum like this! Or, if anyone has any similar photos or something, please show me. The style is sort of like those low-waisted dresses. The bottom part is really wide and flowy, but it's just the edge that has that smocked detail! And the bodice is just stunning too!!! Seriously! 😍 I kept thinking about going into the shop and asking if they could give me the girl's number so I could call her and ask about it, but that feels kinda weird... I don't know... 🤷
Gremlin, are you currently in Warsaw or Indianapolis? (I ask specifically because of Rachel's Photo studio)🙂 The gown you’re describing—that sheer, delicate style—was actually worn by a girl I knew back in Indianapolis...

I am thinking roughly 100 invitations and 100 thank-you notes, all in a single color using laser printing. I’d love to just have them sitting here at home ready to go when 🙂
Ladies, would anyone be willing to recommend a budget-friendly local print shop around the Indianapolis or Memphis area? I’m planning to design my own invitations, so I just need simple single-sided printing on glossy paper—nothing overly complicated. I checked with a printer in Indianapolis, and they quoted me $1.75 per invitation, which honestly feels like an absolute robbery 🤷 The reason I'm asking is that I've seen pre-made invitation sets on sale for as little as $1.00... whereas all I really need is a basic 5x5 inch square print, without any folding, adhesive, or fancy imagery. 😕
Gentledriver92, nothing too extravagant—just something light enough for guests to nibble on before they head out to church, but still delicious. I am looking for some firsthand accounts regarding catering services (though I am also weighing the option of simply ordering some platters from Billie, for instance 😉). Thank you!
Has anyone here ordered pastries or a wedding cake from the Crown? I’m curious to hear your thoughts on whether the quality actually justifies the price tag. Thanks!🙂
So far, I have checked off the venue, the band, and the photographer from my list. Now, I am looking for some solid recommendations for makeup artists, hairstylists, and florists... Thank you!
Hello, ladies! I have been following this community for quite some time now, so I thought it was finally time to step out of the shadows and join the conversation... My wedding is scheduled for this July, and I have just officially kicked off the planning process 😁
