So, I’ve been doing some deep diving into makeup artists... and honestly, it seems like everyone on these forums keeps raving about Lucija Spajić! It’s practically the only name popping up everywhere. Does anyone happen to have her contact info handy? If you could send me her number—or even better, if you have any other talented artists you swear by personally—that would be amazing! Thanks!🙂))

Oh, please... by the end of the night, nobody’s even going to care about the snacks...😍 Honestly, we’ll probably just pack some leftovers to go anyway! All things considered, the dessert situation won't be nearly as overpriced as I feared—I was bracing myself for a total rip-off...😍 Let's just hope the final bill actually turns out to be a pleasant surprise for once...😁

Scott Reed12 said:Booking desserts is a bit of a moving target... personally, I put my deposit down three months out, though when I was visiting local bakeries, they told me three weeks is plenty of notice. Then there is Monica—she follows a different "philosophy" entirely. She’s pregnant, so she refuses to overwork herself—she’ll only take on a handful of orders regardless of her actual staff capacity (her words, not mine)... but I digress.
As for the quantities... our baker suggested roughly 10 ounces per person, which works out to about 6 pounds for a hundred people. She suggested bumping that up to 15 ounces per person if we wanted enough for everyone to take some home, but even that is subjective—it really depends on how large your dessert boxes are.

Thanks... you've been incredibly helpful!🙂 Though, now that I think about it, 10 ounces feels a bit light... that's basically just the weight of a standard chocolate bar🙄 And then there's the fact that some pastries are heavier while others are much lighter...😍

Hey ladies,🙂 I’ve been scrolling through this thread, but honestly, it’s just way too massive to navigate—I feel like I'm drowning in posts... so please forgive me if this has already been covered somewhere else in the chaos.🤣 I was wondering, roughly how far in advance should I be finalizing everything and putting down a deposit for the wedding desserts? We're looking at about 100 guests, and I'm trying to figure out how much cake we actually need—keep in mind, there won't be any extra treats kept at home, it's just about having enough for the venue and making sure everyone gets a little something to take home with them...😍 Thanks!

It looks like there’s a lot of great info floating around here.
We’re hosting a party in San Francisco for about 100 people. We've narrowed our restaurant options down to:
The Avengers
Vela
Benedict-South
South

I'd love to hear your recommendations or any experiences you've had with them! It seems like everyone raves about The Avengers, but I can't find much info on Vela, Benedict, or South...

Now, I've heard from a few people that the food at South is actually fantastic—even though I haven't had the chance to visit myself... As for Velum, we actually dropped by there to chat, and frankly, I wasn't thrilled with what they told us. They claimed that since we'll have 100 people, they won't be able to connect the terrace with the main hall (and this is for a summer wedding!)...😕 So, basically, we'd be forced to have the reception indoors while all the other restaurant patrons sit outside doing their own thing, staring at us through the glass... how lovely...🤷
