Alex Ross32 said:Right now, the lighting situation is what’s really killing me—prices are all over the map, and honestly, we’ve been warned that it’s better to skip the lights entirely than to end up with some cheap, low-quality junk. 🤷I haven't a clue who actually does good work—anyone here have any real experiences to share?

I'd also suggest checking out the Entertainment team.🙂😍

cosmicviper7 said:The Gentlemen😍 😍 They played our wedding and honestly, those guys are just... beyond amazing. If you check out their website, they actually have a way to get a free DVD of their setlists from various weddings sent to you. Both us and all our guests were absolutely thrilled—they even play some foreign stuff, nothing crazy, but enough to keep things interesting.😍

I agree, they really are wonderful! I honestly didn't realize a band like that could create such an amazing atmosphere! 😍

Well, see? I'm just glad it turned out well for you. 😁

Find someone local and get it sorted! 😉

One bride I worked with for her wedding mentioned that Helen did her makeup. I didn't get a chance to ask if she was actually happy with the results, but from what I could see, the look held up perfectly until morning. 🤷

At least the makeup artist? 😁

No, she doesn't do house calls. I actually asked her because I was hoping to have my makeup done at home, but apparently not. My appointment is set for September 1st, so if you don't have a wedding scheduled before then, I'll let you know how everything turns out.😍😍

I was actually hoping to get the Victoria model too, but I saw some talk on the forums about how it didn't show up on time and was delayed... which was a bit disappointing 😲

My regular stylist is on vacation right when I need her, and every other place I've called is booked solid. Can you believe this? I’m absolutely desperate—I’m only a month away from my wedding and I still don't have someone to handle my hair.🙂

Maybe try giving them a call; you might get lucky. Personally, I probably wouldn't pick Victoria, but if you're out of options, maybe she'll work. 🤷Good luck, honey, I'm rooting for you!😍

Walter Moore5 said:Has anyone ever made the trip over to Mexico just to stock up on booze? I need to grab another 10L of herbal liqueur, 15L of bourbon, 10L of vodka, and 90L of concentrated juice (TO)

I’m honestly not sure if it’s worth making two or three separate trips for this. I have no clue what the price difference is between here and there, so if anyone can help me out, please! I need to get moving soon since the wedding is less than a month away. 🙂

The herbal liqueur is probably about half the price of the rest, and I guess everything else might be cheaper too.🙂

You might find someone on Craigslist or maybe check Facebook Marketplace 🙂 if you find anything, let me know—I actually need some for September 1st. 🙂 😍
I hope that helps

Hey everyone! Has anyone ever been to the MBM center in Đakovo? I was wondering if they carry any supplies for lapel pins. I heard they might have some over at the downtown location? Any help would be great, I'm feeling a bit lost here! 🙂🤷

Kimberly Garcia said:So, I’ve got a few questions about wedding venues. My fiancée and I are narrowing down our options, and right now we're stuck between two places in Indianapolis: Crystal and Zelenkrov.

Now, look, I’ve actually been to Zelenkrov a couple of times, and from a guest's perspective? It was great. Everything felt smooth. But honestly, I have no clue what it’s actually like from the couple's side of things—you know, the actual planning and organization part.

The real headache is Crystal. I am hitting a total brick wall trying to find anything online about them. Like, zero reviews, zero feedback, nothing. I can't find a single person's opinion on the place. So, if anyone here has actually used Crystal for an event, could you please, please let me know how it went?

Thanks.

Hey, I think there are a few women on this forum who have hosted weddings at those locations, so maybe reach out to them. 😉
I believe buhtlaos might have some info there 🙂 hope that helps!

Hi ladies!
So... I have a few questions to get things started...
1. For those of you in the Indianapolis area or nearby, where did you pick up your wedding rings? We haven't actually started looking yet, so any tips or recommendations would be amazing 😉
2. Does anyone have a recommendation for live music (like a band or musicians)?
3. Has anyone used Chic Salon in Indianapolis for hair and makeup? Were you happy with the results? Also, do they offer trials for hair and makeup? I'm wondering how long everything lasted through the night. 😕
4. Does anyone know a florist that carries veeery large candelabras???
5. And damn, where can I find comfortable shoes that will let me dance all night long?🤷

😍😍😍

we went with the 300g boxes

I might be able to stop by and try them when the wedding happens 😉 so that sounds pretty good for $13-kg 😍

Do you think they might have vases available for rent? Something like a narrow, round style 😁

Hi there, organizer! 🙂
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can pick up some chair covers. I’m looking for about 180 pieces, ideally somewhere in the Des Moines area or nearby.
Has anyone ever visited that local studio? I'm curious about their selection and what the experience is like, since I have a discount there and was thinking of heading over, but I'm not quite sure what their inventory looks like... Thanks!
