Sage... it's actually way more affordable than what you'd find at Grandma's Creek...

I used Mozaik once... I was super happy! Everything turned out absolutely perfect, exactly how I pictured it...

driftingjackal9 said:Hey there, OP... quick question for the group. My wedding is set for July 5th, and I’m currently spiraling because I need to find a hair stylist and a makeup artist. Since I'm living in New York City, I have absolutely no clue where to look in the surrounding areas—maybe Indianapolis, Columbus, or Savannah? Right now, I'm torn between Serena Williams and that Chanel studio in Columbus, but honestly, looking at their portfolios, the Chanel place seems to have a slightly better vibe.
Help me out here..... if this wedding were in NYC, I wouldn't even be asking because I'd know exactly where to go, but being out here is stressing me out. This is driving me nuts; I actually picked out my photographer and my band faster than this 😵

Thanks, and good luck to everyone 😍😍

If you ask me, the Chanel studio wins hands down for both hair and makeup!

Based on what I've seen online, they seem pretty solid to me.

Based on their portfolio, I think they're awesome... Plus, a friend of mine used them and said she was super happy with the results!

Hey everyone! Has anyone here actually gone through the process of buying custom license plates? Where do you usually go, and what kind of prices are we looking at these days?

You can find some really cute little bottles for your homemade spirits at the farmers market in Indianapolis, right by the corner shops. They’re super affordable, too!

dustytinker58 said:You can find that exact shade of white at Target for $53, though you might even spot it over at Home Depot

Home Depot actually has $66 right now. I saw it on their ads yesterday😁

You can pick up some basic white pavilions over at the local Party City near $67... though you can usually find them at places like Walmart, Target, or even Kroger too.

Michelle Harris27 said:I actually went with diamond rings—ten of them, in fact—so I didn't really bother looking at other styles, but I do know that mine ended up being way cheaper than what they’d charge me back in Washington, D.C.

As for the flowers, that's going to be my big expense $1333 because I am going all out and have absolutely everything planned out..
So, honestly, it all just comes down to the specific type of blooms you want and how much volume you need.

You really have to look at your guest count and table setup; I have 25 tables to cover
and then you have to decide if you want full arrangements on those tables (what style are you thinking?!) or maybe just those little floating candles in glass pebbles or water, or whatever vibe you're going for...
For my wedding, I'm doing those big, gorgeous round arrangements sitting in martini glasses on every single table

Then there's the sweetheart table.. you'll need to decide if you want one massive centerpiece, or maybe a long floral runner along the edge, or even some low spheres like the ones on the other tables...

And don't forget the church! Do you want an arrangement there too? I'm planning on doing both a main piece and some pretty bows for the pews...

The bridal bouquet will naturally be the priciest part, especially if you go for an all-rose design

Oh, and boutonnieres—how many people are we talking about there?!

One last thing, if you happen to have a good group of bridesmaids, they can play a huge role in the floral situation; if you're having the wedding in June, you're in luck because that's when everything is in full bloom

But hey, there's that florist on Facebook where you can check out their portfolio and just send over an inquiry to get a solid quote...
All I can say is they do an incredible job

In the end, they're quoting me about $4,000 for everything, whereas the places in Washington, D.C. were asking me for $10,000 for the exact same thing!

Can we get the name of this florist? And what kind of flowers are you planning to use?!

I'm curious—do you all plan on giving your guests little treats to take home at the end of the night? I'm thinking something small, maybe a little box with about 4 to 8 ounces of cookies.
Edit: For those of you who have already hosted weddings, did you do this? And if so, how much did you go with?

Brandon Barnes said:I don't have nearly enough time for that. Besides, I'm not looking to head out to the Midwest; I’d much rather just stick around Indianapolis. 😬
Is there anyone else out there? Anyone at all?

The MLS team, AMC Theatres, the boardwalk...

Whether you visit Nicole in any other city or just stop by my place in Columbus, you’ll find she has the best selection around. They carry everything from super flashy pieces to really simple, classic styles. And hey, if you already have a specific one in mind, just show her a photo—she’ll track it down for you!

James Lopez8 said:I’m heading out this Sunday to pick up some rings, so I’ll probably take the opportunity to ask him if it's okay for me to share my size. I'll be sure to keep you all posted 😉

Any chance we can get a photo of the ring?

Alex Ross32 said:Right now, the lighting situation is what’s really killing me—prices are all over the map, and honestly, we’ve been warned that it’s better to skip the lights entirely than to end up with some cheap, low-quality junk. 🤷I haven't a clue who actually does good work—anyone here have any real experiences to share?

I’d definitely recommend the Music Fun team.

Has anyone swung by the mall lately? Which department store should I hit up if I'm looking for wedding guest gear—like suits, bowties, lapels, and all that good stuff?

dustytinker58 said:Help! I have my wedding coming up this September and I still haven't booked a photographer, found a florist, or even picked out a dress... I’m starting to get a little hit by the nerves. Is it getting too late? Should I be panicking and rushing through all of this right now? What do you guys think, and when did you all actually start your planning process?
I'm looking at booking Elijah ???? for photography and Stella's floral shop over in Savannah. If anyone has worked with them before, please let me know how it went! 😉

Honestly, you’re still fine on the dress and the flowers... but you might run into limited options with photographers if you wait much longer. We actually locked everything in a year and a half ahead of time just to be safe.
If you head over to Nicholas, they have the best selection of dresses around. Start looking now! 🙂) Good luck! 🙂

I'm looking for some honest reviews on P&M photo/video studio in Indianapolis and Brzica over in Savannah. Does anyone have recommendations for other photographers too???

We actually put down a deposit with P&G studio. We were totally torn between Boise and P&G, but we ended up going with P&G. 🙂
