Justin Foster45 said:They’re a solid partner—most hobby shops and eBay carry them. 🙂

Honestly, it’s probably too late for eBay since I’ve completely lost interest in those specific figures! I'll check out those other two options instead, thanks. 🙂

Hey, does anyone know where I can pick up some wedding cake toppers? Like, you know, the little bride and groom figures and stuff? 😁
Ronald Anderson48 said:Thanks, I don't really mind paying for the trial makeup session, since I'm definitely going to use the excuse to head out somewhere 🙂

Does anyone happen to know where I could pick up those card storage boxes here in the States? Also, I'm looking for a different kind of guest book—maybe one of those tree designs where people can sign their names or leave fingerprints? I saw it on Pinterest and honestly, I'm pretty obsessed with the idea.

Just grab a wooden box at ST Offertiss (maybe like $4 or $5) and you can just repaint it or do some decoupage on it yourself. 🙂

By the end of this month, we’re planning to have the hall, the photographer, and the band all squared away. Based on what we've seen, we've decided on the venue in Luksic—the manager there is absolutely wonderful, the food is great, they've got brand new lighting, and decorations are actually included in the price. My share for dinner comes out to $35. For photography, we went with Misha Photography from TG; the guy is fantastic, really easy to work with, and we love that his style isn't overdone with heavy filters. We're still weighing our options for the band, but we're leaning toward the Uber band. Even though their $2,200 price tag is a bit steep, we've listened to them a million times and their energy is just unmatched, so they'll likely be our pick. I'll let you know once we decide, because honestly, when you see those rental prices, you never truly know what you're getting... I don't need that kind of stress, and paying a little extra for peace of mind is worth it to me. I've also sorted out the catering—they're awesome, everything is covered except for my drinks and ice. We're going to tackle the rest of the planning bit by bit each month. Woohoo, it's coming so fast! 🥂

You guys are going to finish all your planning this year at this rate, considering how much you've already checked off the list 😁 🙂
Sam Myers66 said:Hey, so I’m heading out this afternoon with my boyfriend for an interview at the Rose Bowl restaurant. Any tips on what we should be asking or what red flags to watch out for? This is our first time doing something like this, so I just don't want them pulling any fast ones on us.

Parking situation, floor plan, sound system, lighting, decor, how they handle decor setup, unlimited drinks all night, desserts, the cake, restroom availability, the deposit, final payment terms, when we need to make a decision, late-night service fees, corkage fees, cake cutting fees if the cake isn't theirs, portion sizes for food and dessert per person, photo ops near the venue, smoking policy, total duration of the event, and any hidden extra costs.

That’s basically the checklist we used. 🙂 Seriously, don't be shy about asking every single thing on your mind. At the end of the day, you're the one paying the bills!

I'm looking for something a bit larger and more elegant than the standard lettering.

Maybe check eBay? That’s my first stop for pretty much everything. 😁
