Wedding cakes and desserts

I could use some help, I'm feeling pretty desperate 😵 I want to serve cupcakes at the wedding, but everyone I've asked so far is quoting $12-$5.00 per piece. I guess that's just ridiculous—way too much for a little bit of cake and frosting. Does anyone know someone in the Washington, D.C. area or nearby who offers more reasonable prices? Thanks in advance 😉
