It feels like certain promoters are getting way too comfortable using bans to silence anyone who doesn't play nice with their brand. At what point does "protecting the roster" just become a way to control the narrative? Does anyone else think this kind of gatekeeping is killing the competitive spirit of the sport?

I just gave Airtable a shot on my machine. It gets the job done and starts up automatically whenever I boot the system. Give it a whirl and see for yourself just continue to download the free version and you're all set.
Hey there! What operating system is running on that laptop? Since it’s a small machine, I’m guessing it might be running Windows 7 Starter. It could be a dozen different things causing this error, but I can't say for sure without knowing the OS. Plus, Windows 7 hasn't seen support in quite a while now. In my experience, having to reset the hotspot every single time you reboot is a real pain. There are some scripts floating around online that you can toss into your startup folder, but honestly, I've never had much luck with those myself.

Exactly. You just need a network card like the one in that first link—doesn't matter the brand, as long as it has an antenna to pick up the Wi-Fi signal. Usually, the drivers come on a CD included with the device. Once you've got the card installed, just turn on the hotspot on your phone and look for your iOS network on the computer. Pro tip: definitely make sure to set a password for your hotspot 😉
