Dealing with homosexuality in the family: How to handle it?

Take identical twins, for example. They grow up in the exact same house, under the same rules, raised identically—yet one turns out gay while the other doesn't. It makes you wonder about this childhood trauma theory everyone keeps bringing up. I’ll give you this: yeah, those early experiences can definitely shape things later on. It might create that deep-seated feeling that you can only find true emotional fulfillment with someone of the same gender.
But honestly? In most cases, I just don't think that's how it works.
My take is that most gay guys actually start out experimenting with heterosexual dating or relationships because society pushes that "norm" down their throats. It's only after they try living that lie that the real struggle begins. :-) hehehehehe
