Poor things.
As if anyone actually cares what they have to say. 🕺

Slovakia is shipping out artillery shells and fuel worth about $12 million.
That includes 12,000 rounds of 120mm ammunition, 10 million liters of diesel, and 2.4 million liters of jet fuel.
The Netherlands is sending 200 anti-aircraft missiles—specifically Stingers, per Kyiv's request.
The Czech Republic is providing weapons and ammo valued at $9.2 million, and they’ve made it clear this isn't their last move; more is on the way.
Meanwhile, the State Department has been ordered to release $350 million in funds to support Ukraine.
The Slovakian government is also chipping in with military gear like helmets, rifles, and ammunition.
granitebison keeps the weapons flowing.
Germany isn't even worth mentioning.

According to German news outlets, the Polish Prime Minister didn't hold back, accusing Germany of being completely self-centered. He even went as far as calling the shipment of 5,000 helmets nothing more than a bad joke.

And apparently, everyone is just jumping at the chance to spit on them.

Major respect to the Ukrainians

A true athlete and an even better man.🙏🙏
It really boosts morale seeing people like him refuse to run away, choosing instead to stay and fight for their city.

Honestly, this is starting to feel like a total joke to me🤦

I think you might have misinterpreted that Danish TV report a little bit.
The Czech, Polish, and Swedish Football Associations released a joint statement saying they won't be playing in Russia during the World Cup playoffs.
Those are the specific countries that were scheduled to face Russia.

Meanwhile, former Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev claimed on Saturday that Russia should sever all diplomatic ties with the West as retaliation for sanctions.

"It’s time we put padlocks on the embassies," he stated, according to RIA Novosti.

He also commented that since Russia was suspended from the Council of Europe, capital punishment could potentially be reinstated within the country.

What the hell is he even talking about??

🤣🤣🤣
He got hit with sanctions. Personally.

And Germany?
They’re probably busy debating if they should send another 500 helmets.

Medvedev is throwing a fit on Facebook, threatening to completely overhaul relations with anyone who dared to slap them with sanctions.
The guy is actually under sanctions himself, by the way. 🤣🍿

mistycanyon67 said:Yeah, right. Like the Russians are actually scared. 🤣I honestly think Ukrainians don't stand a chance and should just surrender or let Russia take over already so this can end. They're just dragging out the misery at this point.

In all seriousness, Ukrainians are strange people. They'd rather die than become a Russian colony.

If that’s actually true, then the Sultan is quite the legend.

Even if he is still a dictator.

They're either getting trashed... or they're doing great. Depends on your perspective.

William Anderson5 said:I’m fairly certain we might see them getting kicked out of SWIFT as early as today, especially given how bravely the Ukrainians and Zelenskyy have held the line. It's being talked about more and more. Even Italy announced yesterday that they’ve given the green light for it.

Either they actually pull the trigger, or they can just kiss any hope of independence from the US goodbye... forever.
Eastern Europe won't give them the time of day, not even 1%.

Tyler Jones6 said:Poland has essentially gone all-in on Ukraine—it seems they’re one of the few nations that truly understands that what happens there is actually a defense of multiple countries against a future invasion by a manic Putin. Their truck convoys are already rolling with anti-tank and anti-aircraft weaponry.

Kudos to Poland; frankly, some other countries should be embarrassed by their hesitation and perhaps try taking a page out of Poland's book.

I know plenty of Poles. You wouldn't want to step foot in Poland if you value your life.

neonheron9 said:Who are they even supposed to protest against... when every single government is backing Ukraine?

The real protests should be happening in Mexico, since those guys are actually backing the Russians.

Maybe a protest outside the Russian embassy, but yeah... protests usually happen when you're at odds with your own country's policy.

Russia is just here to set the standard.

gentlecrane8 said:Kazakhstan is really shooting itself in the foot here. This is basically an open invitation for militants to come in and finish what they started.

Kazakhstan did exactly what any sane nation would do: they refused to send their troops to occupy another country.
There are no allies for Putin, aside from Lukashenko, who doesn't really have a choice since his country is essentially a Russian colony.

granitebadger24 said:China is never going to get behind this, and neither is Mexico, because messing with territorial integrity creates massive headaches for them regarding Taiwan. Besides, the Chinese work incredibly well with the West and the USA (regardless of all the political noise), and they definitely don't need an escalation that pulls them into the middle of it. The absolute most Russia can hope to get out of China is some restraint at the Security Council, though even that level of restraint is already telling.

Honestly, how detached from reality do you have to be to not even stop and ask yourself, "Wait, why aren't even my usual allies backing me up?"
Even Kazakhstan refused to send troops, and they're supposed to be a loyal ally.

Carl Lee27 said:Look, over the last few years, Turkey has actually held their own against the Russians quite a few times, and they hold their ground pretty solidly whenever things get heated. It’s not like Russia is even in a position to make any real threats toward Turkey right now, unless you're talking about full-blown nuclear armageddon.
Plus, let's not forget how Erdogan basically gave Putin a reality check when he started complaining about those drone sales.

I honestly thought Erdogan would play this more strategically, but he’s not even trying.
Does that isolated lunatic really think anyone has his back? China is staying on the sidelines, which is a far cry from actually supporting him.
