None of those programs actually fixed my issue... so I just left it as an "Unknown device."
I really wanted to learn how to handle this for next time, though. I honestly have no clue which specific component is missing its drivers... Is there any way to look it up "manually" and then just install it?
I could really use some help here. I just finished installing Windows 7 on my HP laptop... and when I pull up the Device Manager, I'm staring at a yellow exclamation mark. It's sitting right there under Other Devices - Unknown Device... and I honestly can't figure out how to clear it. What am I looking at here? How do I fix this? Everything else seems to be running fine, though. Thanks in advance!
Does anyone know how to fix this? Why does it keep happening? I mean, the PC seems to be running fine otherwise, but there's clearly an issue whenever those yellow exclamation marks pop up.
Noah Sanchez39 said:@ jadesurfer5 You know that old saying? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I’d suggest you don't sweat whether every single driver is perfect. Windows is pretty good at handling things on its own. It basically manages all those generic drivers that come right out of the box. If there aren't any yellow exclamation points popping up in your Device Manager, then everything is running exactly how it should. If you plug in something new later, like a printer or a scanner, the OS will just let you know and grab the right driver for you. 🙂
Alright, thanks. I'll try installing it and then check the Device Manager...
Hey everyone, I could use some help... once I finish installing Windows 7 on a brand-new PC, what's the best way to check if all my drivers are actually working right? Is there some kind of little utility that can just scan everything and pull the latest drivers straight from the web once the setup is done?
I used to have something similar set up back when I was running Windows XP, so I never really had to stress about driver issues then. This is my first time dealing with Windows 7, though, so I'm feeling a bit out of my element... any advice? thanks

Well, tell me what you can get them for... I'm stuck on it because I actually need them. They're honestly the best multivitamins I've ever tried. Do you have any friendly advice or maybe some criticism regarding them? Thanks.
Hey everyone! I picked up some Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Whey today.
Does anyone here have any expert insight on this stuff? What’s the best way to take it—just shake it up with water right after a workout? Also, would it be a bad move to add some glucose to it? I'm trying to drop about 5 or 6 pounds...
To be totally honest, it doesn't taste great just mixed with water. I went with the cookie flavor...
