Look, you need to prove that hitting 200, 300, or 400mg of progesterone is basically toxic and puts the liver in the line of fire. Once that happens, the whole endocrine system goes sideways, leading to all those diagnoses you've been throwing around... instead of just sitting here drawing pretty little pictures 🙂
Hold up, let me jump in before this gets locked 🙂
Angela Wright, honestly, a shot of bourbon fixes everything for me—I’m basically Chuck Norris in that regard 😉
Look, my point wasn't saying "Yeah, just chug the whole pack to fix a miscarriage." That's not what I meant. I was just saying if someone actually did swallow a whole pack of birth control pills, it wouldn't be the end of the world, despite how much some people were freaking out about it.
At the end of the day, say you take 10mg of progesterone times 21 pills, that’s 210mg in one go. You guys realize there are women out there on hormone therapies taking 400mg of progesterone every single day? So, she’s going to be totally fine. This whole attempt at trolling is a bust from the get-go 🙂
I don't get why everyone is getting all worked up and making jokes at her expense, even if she is just trolling or messing around here. 🙂
If she actually stumbled upon a pack of birth control pills by mistake, it's not like she did something terrible.
In almost every country in the USA, they use mifepristone—you might know it as the abortion pill, RU486. It’s taken, I think, up to eight weeks into a pregnancy to end it... usually paired with misoprostol.
Just a reminder: mifepristone is basically just contraception, just in a much higher dose.
If our doctors weren't so stuck in their ways, women wouldn't be dealing with all these phobias. They’d just go to the clinic, get the pill, and there'd be nothing to argue about on this forum. 😉
It seems like everyone has an opinion on Cubans and those poor folks struggling under communism, right? But nobody ever wants to talk about the people living in the countries right next door to Cuba. They’re dealing with the exact same misery, poverty, and zero social safety nets to protect them.
So, we get endless posts crying over Cuba, but total silence on everyone else in the region.
Sorry, but I’ve gotta ask one quick thing to the OP,
I was wondering why you didn't just write a similar post about the economic situations in places like Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Guyana, Nicaragua, or Panama???
See, those countries don't deal with socialism (you know, communism as an economic system) because they either kicked out their governments in record time or went through a civil war... or maybe those socio-communist movements just never even took root there.
So, here's the kicker: if those countries are free from the kind of brutal leadership you're describing over in Cuba, why aren't they living better than the folks in Cuba??
Why don't they have wages that are at least three times higher than what people make in Cuba?
And do you even know the difference in infant mortality rates between those countries and Cuba?
It's 6 per 1,000 in Cuba
compared to 26 per 1,000 in Paraguay
and 28 per 1,000 in Uruguay
Did you know the GDP per capita is actually higher in Cuba than in Nicaragua?
Not to mention the doctors in Cuba, the mandatory education, and all that stuff.
So, let's look at it this way:
Why doesn't the USA just decide to announce tomorrow that they're lifting every single sanction against Cuba! And that they're dropping all the penalties against any other countries in Latin America that work with them?
Just let Cuba start living a normal life. Let them take out loans, let them export their coffee, sugar, rum, and tobacco normally...
Since it's such a gorgeous island, tourism and all that export business would give them a totally different lifestyle and outlook.
But, if you mess with a small country, bully them—because you're bigger—isolate them, threaten them, slap them with penalties, and throw embargoes at them (including things like vaccines and antibiotics)... well, obviously that country is going to be struggling just to stay afloat!
