Are we taking life way too seriously?

The pervasive sense of self-importance one sees in people today might actually be one of our most significant societal issues. It seems as though the youth are busy imitating the gravity of their elders by pretending to be serious, while the older generation spends their time acting like complete fools under the guise of being profound☕...
😛Children possess a certain inherent wisdom and an uncorrupted nature, yet we somehow manage to help them get stuck in this rigid way of thinking..
Older generations are attempting to view the world through those exact same lenses once again..👍
Generally speaking, society—spanning from puberty up to about age 70—seems obsessed with turning life into some grand drama. Everyone fancies themselves an actor in a gritty Hollywood prestige drama where the lead is some massive A-list star; they think it’s a matter of utmost importance, leaving absolutely no room for genuine emotion or simple nonsense.. everyone seemingly wants to be the next Bruce Willis, 🤣
While I suppose there are certainly heavy and solemn moments in life, they aren't exactly something that occurs on a daily basis

A man on his deathbed says to his doctor:
• Make sure you write down that I died of AIDS!
• Why would you want that?
• Because then no one will touch my wife, and those who already have will die of pure terror!
