The HDD is doing just fine—everything seems totally normal there—but when I jumped into Disk Management, I saw that my SSD is definitely being recognized, yet it’s reporting only 20 MB of free space.

Have you taken a good look at the motherboard components to see if anything actually fried? Usually, when capacitors give out, the PC starts resetting itself just to prevent a massive voltage surge from wrecking everything. You can technically tweak some settings to bypass that, but honestly, I wouldn't recommend messing with it. From where I'm sitting, if it’s refusing to boot entirely, you're likely looking at an issue with the Southbridge. Give those parts a thorough inspection and let us know what you find.

So, about a month and a half ago, my system totally crapped out on me. I checked the BIOS and noticed SATA 0 was showing up as 0 GB, while SATA 1 was reading fine at 2000 GB. Then yesterday, the system crashed again—I was just staring at a blank screen because I had to manually reclaim ownership of my C: drive. Fast forward to today: I decided to wipe everything and reinstall Windows, grabbed the motherboard and Wi-Fi drivers, and then went to grab my GPU drivers. But apparently, I needed an April update first, so I started that process. After sitting there downloading for four straight hours, I got hit with a BSoD called Critical Failure... only this time, it was happening on my Hard Disk Drive.

Look, you’ve got your VRAM and then you’ve got your system RAM. You mentioned having 4 GB of VRAM on the GPU and 8 GB of system RAM, but those two capacities are totally different beasts and don't have anything to do with each other.
