Got a couple errors under crypt32, some MSI installer issues, plus a warning for userenv. Also seeing an error in net runtime optimization, warnings for asp.net 2.0.50727.0 and winmgmt, then an application hang error, a warning for asp.net 4.0.30319.0, and finally application errors and an error under arrakis3. It's all showing up in the Application section of Event Viewer.
Finally wiped all that Apple junk off my system. No more SyncUI core issues, I guess, but now I'm constantly getting this error about some app trying to load without a manifest... then it just ends by saying it can't execute the resource load.
Benjamin King2 said:😕 syncUI core is just some Apple app for syncing an iPhone with a PC... I guess I have no idea what that has to do with Cubase. Maybe try uninstalling that junk, MobileMe or whatever it's called.
Turns out I've got LG USB drivers installed for my phone. I'm trying to wipe them or delete them, but it keeps saying I can't?!
Just finished installing the .NET Framework, and it actually asked me if I wanted to run a repair... So I did. Then I fired up Cubase again and it’s still doing the exact same thing. Same problem.
Kyle Wright3 said:I found Windows XP. Mvscp80 is actually on my computer, I tracked down where it's sitting. I was reading up on it and maybe they're just two apps clashing and blocking each other? I think it needs to be separated, if I'm even getting that right...
Oh yeah, I also noticed that the initialization just totally hangs on syncUIcore...
Benjamin King2 said:Maybe you need the .NET framework installed? If you have .NET v2.0 or anything higher, that mvscp80.dll file should already be on your system. You can grab it right here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/e...displaylang=en
What version of Windows are you even running?
Windows XP. I actually found where mvscp80 is on my machine, so it's definitely there. From what I read, it seems like two apps might be clashing or blocking each other, and I guess they need to be separated... if I'm getting that right.
I tried reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime, but nothing changed. It’s still hitting me with that mvscp80 error right at startup. I did some digging online and found a few things... apparently, you can fix this using Visual Studio, maybe through some kind of side-by-side manifest thing. But honestly, what good is that to me if I don't even know how to navigate Visual Studio? That stuff is way over my head, man. You happen to know anything about this? Maybe...
Benjamin King2 said:All you gotta do is register, they'll just email you a key—no buying anything required... just try Norton Utilities if you want: http://www.iobit.com/toolbox.html
So, I downloaded that tool and ran a scan for errors, fixed everything it found. Then I reinstalled Cubase and now I'm getting this Microsoft Visual C++ runtime library runtime error R6034 An application has made an attempt to load the runtime library incorrectly.
Benjamin King2 said:Maybe just try scanning your PC with this first and fix whatever errors it finds.
It found 337 problems, but I can't actually fix them without registering the software, and I don't have a license key. I'd buy the little thing if I could, but honestly, I'm paranoid about paying for stuff online. Just skeptical, I guess...
Kyle Wright3 said:I grabbed the plugin from a torrent and installed it... Yeah, it takes forever just to initialize and then it won't even open. Plus, on my SX3, I keep getting those Microsoft Visual C++ errors. The program just won't start up at all..
There are plugins everywhere, I guess... from Nero to RealPlayer.. how am I supposed to gather them all into one place?
Benjamin King2 said:Scanning? Maybe you think it needs more time to initialize? I guess that happens if you're running trial plugins—you always have to re-register them whenever you launch Pro Tools. Another thing might help is putting all your plugins in one single folder instead of having them scattered across a hundred different places. It’ll pick them up way faster if they're all in one spot.
I grabbed some plugins off a torrent and installed them... Yeah, it takes forever to initialize and then it just won't even open. And on SX 3, it keeps throwing those Visual C++ errors at me constantly. Plus, the program just won't boot up either.
Not sure if I'm even in the right spot here, so my bad if I am. I'm stuck... I've got a massive headache with Pro Tools. Basically, I have both Pro Tools SX 3 and Pro Tools 5 installed, and I just tried to grab this drum plugin—EZDrummer. Now, every time I try to launch Pro Tools, it starts scanning every single live plugin I own. It takes forever, and the program just won't actually open. What do I do?
Cell phone. Or mobile. Whatever. Microwaves. I guess. Wait, what? Is that it? Just one word? I guess I'm supposed to react to this, but there's nothing here. Maybe you forgot to actually type something? Spinach. Or whatever. Maybe it's good, maybe it isn't. Who knows? Empty pockets, empty stomach. Just how it goes, I guess. Maybe riding a bike? Or just spinning wheels, I guess. Sneakers. Or tennis shoes. Whatever you want to call them, I guess. Maybe just some hot dogs? I guess. Glue. Or whatever. spoon Forklift. Or maybe a pitchfork? I don't know. Just a tool, I guess. I guess just kola-auto. Some bean jar with a streetwalker. Maybe just grab some channel locks. Handyman/DIY guy Artificial stuff. I guess. Maybe just a skyscraper. I guess. I guess maybe it's just some old fence. Honestly, who cares? Vinegar and sour cream... maybe? I don't know.

That's like asking how cool it is to be from the same hometown.
James White73 said:Everyone, please just disregard my previous posts and threads—I’m asking you, please don't mock me because I am dealing with something incredibly serious here. About a week ago, I was home alone when I heard this loud banging coming from the kitchen. I didn't have the nerve to actually go check it out, but I was almost 100% certain there were burglars in the house. Then, I heard the front door slam shut. My parents came over shortly after, and there wasn't any sign of a break-in at all. Fast forward to two days ago—again, I’m home by myself, and once more, I hear that banging, only it sounded even louder than before. This time, I actually worked up the courage to look, and I saw these dark shadows fleeing through the window—it looked like the curtains were fluttering, maybe from the wind, but I’m convinced it was those strange shadows. The kitchen door slammed too, which might have just been a draft, but in my mind, it was tied to those figures. And then yesterday afternoon, it happened again. Now, it’s started to haunt me. Everywhere I look, I can't stop thinking about it. I’m terrified to be alone in a room—God forbid I'm left in my apartment, especially at night—and I’m scared to be anywhere without people around. Even today, I went out for a bike ride on a trail, and out of nowhere, this panic just gripped me. It’s this sick, paralyzing fear where I feel like I’m going to hear something no matter which way I turn. I can't live like this anymore; I really can't. I’ve even had thoughts of just ending it all, just to make everything stop... I know you might think I'm not sane if I take my own life over this, but this isn't "normal" anymore. This isn't just some standard fear of the unknown. It feels like fear is everywhere, closing in on me. No matter where I go, I am afraid, and I truly cannot handle this. I don't want to talk to anyone else about it because they would undoubtedly laugh in my face. I don't know what to do... I'm lost 😢 😢😢
Maybe try a psychiatrist, I heard they actually help.
