Thanks wiredcanyon2 🙂 ... some time has passed and, thank Bill Gates, that "lump under the skin" is gone... I meant to see a doctor about it, though I never actually made the appointment... still haven't quite figured out what it was... 🙂
Two days ago, I noticed a black lump near my labia majora—it feels firm to the touch and sits just beneath the skin. I had an episiotomy during childbirth about ten years ago... I've been trying to avoid thinking about this, as my mind immediately jumps to a terrifying diagnosis. I am deeply concerned and wondering if anyone might have some insight into what this could be?
I don't know what they charge at Friends, but the service is top-tier, the food is incredible, and the owner really goes out of their way to make sure everyone is taken care of.
All those women in California who couldn't stop raving about that Levi's salon—the one that kept moving from Santa Barbara to San Diego to San Francisco—are officially out of luck. They’re closing down. Now, all the girls who were unfortunate enough to put a deposit down on their wedding dresses need to figure out a Plan B fast. And as for that one person who spent all her time praising them while trashing every other shop in town? She’s gone silent lately, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a very good reason for that.
I'm trying to figure out how far in advance I need to book a venue. We're looking at about 100 guests—so, a pretty standard mid-sized wedding—and my priorities are solid food (nothing over-the-top like what Leo does) and a decent dance floor in a well-laid-out space near Castleton or the surrounding areas!
Some people told me booking a year ahead is overkill, while others managed to pull it together just two months out. Obviously, it all depends on the date, the guest count, and all that, which is why I'm giving you the details I have so far.
As for the timing, we're looking at late summer—either late August or early September! Thanks! For a group that size in San Francisco, you could look at Grasso, Big City near Zenith, Little Forest, South, Benedict near Bellevue, or even the San Francisco Amigos outside of town. You also have Diocletian, San Antonio, the Sun Hotel in the suburbs, George, or Pitom.
bluegardener60 Ino has two separate halls, one on the ground floor and one upstairs. Look, the restaurants in Savannah like Friends, San Antonio, and Diocletian handle massive crowds, which just proves they aren't capped at under 100 people. It's the huge establishments that actually impose those limits.
Forest doesn't take bookings for groups under 100, and Grasso won't touch anything less than 50. Plus, if you want the terrace, you're looking at an extra $15,000 on top of everything else. If you're planning a smaller gathering, look into Bekan, Kalafatic, or the Amigos spot in Malibu. As for Diocletian, they only host small groups in their upstairs hall. Honestly? You're better off just hiring a professional agency to handle the whole thing for you. It won't cost you much more in the long run, and at least then you can actually sleep at night knowing everything is being handled correctly.
Nicole Kim11, I was saying that everything is right there in Baška because you’ve got Baška polje and the water all within walking distance. The hotel looks pretty rough right now, but honestly, it could be renovated beautifully for anyone looking for a large venue that won't break the bank. I actually handled the decor myself once, and the wedding couples couldn't believe it was the same space they had rented. So, it's really up to you.
Since you’re looking at the area around Key West, just keep in mind a pirate theme might work best around November or December because finding a venue earlier than that is going to be a nightmare. I’d highly recommend checking out Galeb in Key West or maybe Castel Slanica. If you want something right on the edge of town, there's the Brzet hotel in Brzet, or you could head further out toward the Stanič Restaurant area. For a group that size, there is one hotel in Baška, but it would definitely need some work with decorations and linens to pull it off—it might actually be available in September or October, and it’s called Alen. I can give you the full details via DM. Hope this helps.
San Antonio, Arcade, and Amigos are all located in the sub-district. Over at St. Grašo Bekan, you can even hit up the terrace if the weather stays nice this summer.
