$1,500. Honestly, that’s what they posted on Facebook—that it starts at noon. But I have a feeling that might be a typo. It seems much more likely that the concert runs from midnight until 4:00 in the morning, rather than lasting from noon all the way through to 4:00 PM the following day, as 🤣 suggested. As for the whole "midweek" thing, looking back at this summer, they were performing almost every single night somewhere else anyway.
Live Nation Type: Music/arts - Concert Network: Global Start Time: Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 12:00 End Time: Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 16:00 Location: Bačvice, Split Milan Terze and the group Best in a completely unprecedented collaboration designed to please everyone involved. It's a live set with six people on stage, so just come out and experience it for yourself. There isn't really much point in over-explaining things... See you all on Wednesday.
So, we have the group Best. I can't give a definitive verdict just yet—I really need to get through my audition process first—but from everything I've gathered so far, they seem quite talented. They're actually playing at the Tropic Club tomorrow starting at noon 😕. If you want a little preview, there are a few clips available on YouTube : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJLTDmGxw0w
Has anyone here actually tried the treats from Betty Crocker? I’m curious to get some honest feedback on the quality. I noticed online that they're charging $30 per pound, but I was wondering how their pricing stacks up against other local bakeries. Also, I'm trying to plan for an upcoming event—if I have 160 guests coming for a reception and a banquet, would 110 pounds of dessert be enough to go around?

From Martha via Thank you BB 😁 Thank you! I actually managed to track down the details in the chat; honestly, you can find so much more useful information through the chat than you ever could in the Useful Information section. 🤣
Does anyone happen to have recommendations for a makeup artist and a hairstylist in San Diego? Ideally, I’d love to find someone who works out of the same salon to keep things simple. Best regards!
For those who have held their wedding ceremonies at Manhattan, could anyone tell me what the parish office hours are for coming in to reserve a date? Thanks so much! 👋
For those of you who have used Studio In, I’m curious—how did you feel about the candid shots? You know, the ones where you weren't actually posing, just caught in the moment, laughing or being silly and stuff?
November 14th. They actually have quite a few openings in November, so I should be able to find someone. Perhaps it’s wiser not to overthink the selection process too much.🙂
George Bennett9 said:Oh, come on!😲 He might just be taking two or three months off because he's getting married in October. My last bit of info was that he wouldn't be working the month before or the month after his wedding, but now we're hearing he's closing up shop entirely? Oooooh... that would actually be news! You should give him another call and really dig for the truth.
And for what it's worth, I recommend Jacob 100%! 👍
He actually told me that himself via email when I reached out to inquire about his services. He mentioned he's shutting down his business in August and will be stopping all wedding photography altogether.
Does anyone happen to have some photos from the Ina studio that aren't those overly polished, staged shots you see on their website? I'm looking for something more "photojournalistic"—you know, capturing the actual atmosphere inside the hall and the vibe of the room. Also, does anyone know of any studios out there that might be a bit more budget-friendly than the 1,300 dollar mark? 😁
I just want to make sure everything looks absolutely perfect for the party 🙂
Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to rent some chair covers here in San Diego, and does anyone have an idea of what the typical rental costs look like?
I feel like I should share my thoughts on a group we recently hired Best Buy www.grupabest.com. Since they are a relatively new outfit, I couldn't find a single mention of them here on the forums, which naturally made me a bit skeptical at first 🤣 . I actually stumbled upon them while browsing YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lJLTDmGxw0w . To give you an idea of the lineup, there are five of them—one girl and four guys—with four of them handling the vocals. Despite being a newer group, they aren't amateurs; most of them have quite a bit of experience playing in various professional touring bands. Their versatility is impressive, and they are incredibly accommodating when it comes to the setlist. We were able to sit down and hash out exactly what we wanted them to play and, just as importantly, what we wanted them to avoid. They also stayed through the entire party to make sure everything ran smoothly. They’ve promised us a fantastic performance, so I will be sure to post a full review once the festivities are over 🤣.
