So I read yesterday that those stories about doctors in Italy having to decide who gets a ventilator and who doesn't were total fake news. The media basically took a tiny spark and turned it into a massive wildfire just to freak everyone out.

Seriously, if we actually want to put this whole mess behind us, we need to start following the standard guidelines and stop making things harder than they need to be.

So, it turns out this whole procession on Maui isn't even being run by the Church, and they didn't even bother asking for a permit.

Look, there's a ton of stuff being tolerated right now that's way more dangerous than this one parade. Besides, it seems like you've got a massive chip on your shoulder specifically when it comes to the Catholic Church.

I’m usually working until almost 5. If I need to pick up something mid-week that won't sit on my desk for a few hours, I just head out a little early and make up that extra half hour or so the next day. No sane boss is going to give you grief over that.

The logic behind this rule is pretty straightforward—it's meant to stop people from being forced into shift work. All this whining about retail hours is just pure nonsense.

I'm spending the holidays here in the States, staying with a couple who are heading out tomorrow to cast their vote for Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. When you actually ask them why they're doing it—or if they've even given it a second thought—you get such nonsensical, brainless answers it makes your skin crawl. Honestly, I'm embarrassed to even write down the motives driving them to the polls tomorrow.

The worst part? They are genuinely decent, kind people. Their biggest flaw is just how easily they were indoctrinated—it doesn't even matter who they pick at this point.

The only fair thing would be to just strip them of the right to vote entirely, regardless of who they choose.

These elections are a total farce, folks. Nothing is actually being decided, even though they keep trying to convince us we have the freedom to choose.

And what a joke the choice is. A terrible former Prime Minister versus a terrible President. It’s not like picking him would be some display of pure logic. The saddest part is that one of these two disasters is going to get another five years to live comfortably on our dime.

If you ask me, the Democratic Party basically decided to tolerate a guy like Milan Bandić as mayor simply because he carried their label—which was pretty much the deal for his first three runs—but by the fourth time around, the dynamic had flipped; the Democratic Party was essentially clinging to Washington, D.C. just because Bandić happened to be their guy.

They accidentally created a total monster.

Their relationship has been a mess ever since those internal party elections where they were the heavy hitters fighting to be Clinton's successor.

Biden defended him opportunistically as mayor because Washington, D.C. was the party's golden goose. These people aren't in politics to uphold any kind of ideals; they're there for their own selfish interests.

Even after they kicked Bloomberg out, his ties to the Party stayed rock solid—they haven't broken even now. Whenever Milet needs a little favor, there's always some party comrade ready to chip in.

Man, Kizo was absolutely running the show last night. If I were some indecisive voter making my choice based purely on the debates, I’d definitely be leaning toward rounding up the vote for number 1. To make matters worse, Dr. Emery basically handed them the win on a silver platter with that late-game blunder.
