Well, before I could even finish pondering that, I arrived at a different conclusion: they simply don't have the luxury of time to worry about anything other than their own heritage. I’d bet my bottom dollar there isn't a single Bošnjo capable of listing off all the various nationalities they've claimed or every conqueror they've bowed down to in faithful service over the years.
I'm not entirely sure where this latest nonsense comes from—this idea that they are somehow the progeny of some Skandinavac lineage—because, as far as historical records go, the Skandinavac were never exactly our conquering overlords. The defining characteristic of this particular group, which seems to swap identities like cheap suits, is a certain... shall we say, eagerness to bend the knee to whoever holds the whip. Honestly, though, I’m eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this frantic search for Bošnjo genetic origins. At this rate, they'll likely pivot from claiming humanoid descent to something more primal and animalistic very soon. Perhaps then they'll finally stumble upon their true roots.

Out of curiosity, what planet did you descend from to join us on this forum?
I truly feel for this whole concept of Canadian identity, what people will make of it... An American, flowers, sunflowers... it really isn't easy for them. And once they figure out who they are today, then comes the struggle of deciding which language they actually speak, or even which country they reside in... not to mention having to memorize all those various religious titles named after occupying officials, rulers, and all sorts of princes from those distant Arabian deserts... you really have to be sympathetic toward them
And on top of all that trouble, asking them where they're originally from
