Look, I know how people think—I’m really struggling with this decision. But if I don't try, I’ll always be stuck wondering "what if." And wait, can I actually sue her if she takes my money and fails to deliver results? She refuses to sign anything. We asked, and she just said, "That's not how I operate." Instead, she agreed to take $1,000 upfront, and then once the test results come back—if they’re negative—she gets the rest. So, even if I lose that initial grand, what's the big deal? I've wasted plenty of cash on useless things throughout my life. Who knows, maybe this actually works. If it does, I'll let you all know immediately, and then it'll have been worth every penny. I suppose I'm hoping for this more than my mother is, honestly. They say with Hep C, cirrhosis is a certainty within twenty years. I've had this for about ten years now, so if that math holds up, I might only have ten left. I'm going to try. What else can I do if interferon doesn't work?
Then again, who knows? Maybe it truly helps. They say nature has a cure for everything if you just know how to find it. It's going to be grueling—three months of going there every single day. God knows if I can handle it, but I'll report back with my impressions. If it fails, I'll post her name and address so everyone knows to stay far away. But if it works, that would be incredible. She can't cause me physical harm, so it's really just the risk of losing $1,000, though perhaps it could pay for itself in the long run. Also, regarding suing her—you know how our American legal system works; cases drag on for years. In the end, I'd probably spend more on legal fees than I'd ever recover. Seriously, though, can I even sue her if it doesn't work without a signed contract? If she won't sign, how would I prove anything in court? I'm not entirely sure how the process works, so if anyone knows, please explain. I know you'll think it's strange that she won't sign, but it's a massive complication. Dealing with a lawyer means more fees, more headaches, blah, blah, blah. Regardless, my mom and I decided I should go for it. I need to take action. I've spent enough time waiting and denying that I even have this, though I didn't want to admit it to myself. Now, I realize I have to face it.
Here’s my situation: I visited a practitioner today. She’s originally from abroad—not based here in the States—but she runs this "clinic" focused on holistic nutrition and wellness. She’s claiming she can cure Hepatitis C, HIV, cancer, and other serious illnesses using some kind of herbal cocktail. She wouldn't specify which herbs, just that you take it daily for about three months, and she guarantees the illness will be gone for good. She insists she’s cured plenty of people already. Honestly, I felt awkward asking her for specific numbers or names, so I’m turning to you all instead. Has anyone heard of this? Or better yet, has anyone actually been cured of a life-threatening disease through her methods? She mentioned curing a friend's psoriasis, but let's be real, psoriasis and Hep C are worlds apart. The cost is $6667, which is definitely not pocket change. I really want to do some digging before I hand over the cash and risk being scammed.
I'm not looking for a debate on whether her philosophy is right or wrong; I respect that everyone sees things differently. I know some will believe and others won't. What I need to know is if anyone here has actually seen her or knows someone who was successfully treated. Her place is near the new Importante, right by that big Starbucks, just a block away from Union Square—I think it might be near the old library, but I don't want to get the directions wrong. If you’ve heard anything, please send me a DM so we can see if we're talking about the same person.
It’s a massive amount of money, but then again, when it comes to health, nothing is truly too expensive. My reasoning is that this seems much less invasive than interferon; it’s shorter, and it won't wreck my system the way interferon already has. Since I have Type 1, the treatment is notoriously brutal, and I'm wondering if I'd even qualify for other options or if they'd even work. Please get back to me as soon as possible because I need to make a decision very soon. If you know anyone who has been cured this way, please reach out via DM. I just really need to know if there's any real success to be found there.

Thanks for your help.

I'm giving it a shot too.
Hey everyone. I went through something remarkably similar, though I can't say for certain if it’s tied to what you're describing. Back when I was dealing with withdrawal from all the nonsense I'd been putting into my system, I slipped into a sort of vegetative state. I couldn't function on my own, and there's a massive blank in my memory from that period—it lasted about a month. The only thing I can actually recall is this overwhelming, uncontrollable urge to twist my head. It wasn't just a movement; it felt like a physical necessity. I’d start turning my head and jaw with such force that it felt like I was going to snap my own neck, yet I couldn't stop myself. Once I finally came to, the people watching over me told me they could see it happening—this frantic twisting would precede a major seizure. It happened five or six times a day. Honestly, it’s a sickening thought to look back on.

That was really the only time I experienced anything like it, so maybe there is some kind of psychological game being played by the brain during an episode. I can't be sure; it hasn't happened since.

I also used to get this sensation whenever I closed my eyes—a complete distortion of scale where large objects looked tiny and small things looked massive. Again, this only happened while I was using, and it was a deeply unsettling feeling.
