It's already day 41 and my period still hasn't arrived... I actually took a pregnancy test a couple of days ago, but it came back negative—that's three tests in a row now.
I'm just wondering if those were truly my fertile days; I felt like my ovulation was spot on, but now I'm completely confused... I haven't had any PMS symptoms at all, and I don't even have that feeling like my period is about to start.

Sarah, did you track your basal body temperature or use LH ovulation strips? If your cycles were irregular before you were on birth control, it’s pretty tough to rely on just calculating fertile days right after stopping the pill.
Here’s my own situation this month: I took three tests—11 days post-ovulation (I know, I was being impatient! 😁), then 13 DPO, and then 15 DPO. All of them came back negative. Today, at 16 DPO, my basal temperature is still high, and I still haven't started my period, even though my luteal phase is usually exactly 14 days. I went to get my blood drawn for a beta HCG test, and it came back at 6.6 mIU/ml (anything under 5 means no pregnancy). But it's still too low for home tests to pick up, since they usually need at least 25 mIU/ml to react. Since that level is so low this many days after ovulation, I'm guessing it might have been a chemical pregnancy, so I'm just hoping my period arrives within a week. I'm not feeling any PMS or pregnancy signs either...
If you are 100% sure about when you ovulated, my best advice is to go get a blood test to check your beta HCG levels. That will give you a definitive answer on whether you're pregnant or not.
