So, I’m looking for some advice. My period is supposed to start tomorrow, but things are a bit confusing—I took a pregnancy test two days ago and saw a faint line. It was barely there, but something was definitely showing. Then, the next day, I tried a different brand, and it was the exact same thing. Honestly, I’m really hoping I actually am pregnant 😉 but I’m trying not to get my hopes up too high—I don't want to deal with the letdown if it turns out to be nothing 😢
My plan is to go get a blood test (beta hCG) tomorrow to see where the levels are at, and then maybe head over to Planned Parenthood next week to see if everything looks okay? Does that sound like a reasonable plan, or should I be doing something else? Also, if I just walk into a clinic like Kaiser Permanente to get the blood work done, is it just a matter of asking, paying, and being done with it? How long does it usually take to get the results back? And can they tell you exactly how many weeks along you might be just by looking at the numbers? 😕
Sorry for all the basic questions, I’m just feeling pretty overwhelmed right now

I can't really help you there... though, personally, if I knew for a fact a test was going to come back positive—even if I had to wait ten days—I wouldn't feel bad about wasting cash on a daily test at all. =)

Well, it actually happened to me yesterday—just some very light bleeding, leaning much more toward that brownish tint. We had unprotected sex about seven days ago, and then a few more times after that, though that seems a bit early, doesn't it? So, I’m having my doubts about whether it was from that initial encounter seven days back. 😁
I am fully aware that nobody here can give me a definitive answer—only my OBGYN or a pregnancy test can really settle this—but I was wondering if, based on your own experiences, this could actually be a sign of pregnancy? Normally, I don't deal with any weird spotting like this unless it's right before my period starts, but this feels different, and my actual period isn't due for another two and a half weeks. Do you think it’s way too early to take a test since my period isn't even late yet?
My doctor told me it’s too early, and I still have about 10 days to go before my period arrives... P.S. I'm really hoping we're pregnant... hehe. If you do decide to take a test and it comes back positive, please let me know so I can go get one myself. =)

I have a question... do you guys think it’s too early to take a test? My period isn't due until December 10th... but I want this pregnancy so badly that the waiting is basically pure torture. We’ve been trying really hard all month, so I’m just praying it actually pays off... p.s. just to mention, I threw up twice last Thursday and since then I've had this constant nausea—that feeling where you need to vomit but can't quite manage it. My stomach hurts and I have these intense headaches; if they aren't hitting me morning and night, they at least plague me every single morning. (Then again, I have diagnosed migraines, so maybe it’s nothing related, though I’m really hoping otherwise), oh, and my back is aching too. I honestly feel like I might just be imagining all these symptoms because I want this so incredibly much.
p.s. everyone talks about losing weight in the early stages of pregnancy, but if I am pregnant, that's clearly not happening for me because I am hungry all the time... the only thing I did notice was that I went to a backyard BBQ yesterday, and usually, I live for homemade sausages, but yesterday they actually made me feel sick. God, I really hope I'm not just making this all up.
