Soccer Club Kits, Vol. 1 in Soccer ·
Carol Lewis50 said:The Frenchies are switching things up next year after sticking with Adidas for 40 years. It’s a killer kit, though—that collar especially gives off those old-school tailored Umbro vibes, even if they're actually under the same corporate umbrella.

I always associate the French guys with their Adidas gear, but honestly, I’m just not feeling this dark shade of blue at all; if I'm being totally real, I actually thought the French national jersey looked way better. 😢

I mean, if you can't even handle a simple game of poker, what good are you anyway?🤣
Honestly, I really hope that Columbus-related guy isn't actually serious about strutting around Washington, D.C. dressed in a literal trash bag.

mellowowl38, that thing you put together looking like a United's version using those local Nike ones actually wouldn't be half bad 😁

The home kit—you know, that one from the '82 retrospective collection? It’s got that first player in the bottom row, looking just like Totti in that deep navy blue.
We’re playing away today, sitting right there in second place with those black and blue stripes on our jerseys.

rowdymason3 said:Yeah, Steven is definitely rocking Adidas. So, does that leave us with Puma? Honestly, they aren't a bad choice, though I can't say I'm a fan of their latest patterns lately. They seem to overthink things too much, you know? It's like they lost that clean, effortless vibe you get from brands like Nike or Adidas. Personally, I don't think you can really do much better than what we've got here.

Anyway, they look good—I’m leaning towards the Northern Irish ones since I've always been a fan of those thin stripes.

Honestly, for some people, grasping the concept of EV is just a bit too heavy lifting; if you actually want to get on board, you’re going to need a level head and maybe a few more functioning gray cells than what most folks are currently sporting.

Finally scored that gorgeous jersey from the FIFA World Cup today—you know, the one with that classic Panzer look 🙏
Just don't think for a second that having some new gear means they’re going to start playing any softer tomorrow ☕

Look, setting aside the fact that I can't stand them as a club, this kit is actually incredible 🙏

mellowowl38 said:Seriously, what are you guys smoking collectively? 😁 Look, 99% of the time we’re all on the same page about stuff, but these jerseys are just straight-up hideous. Let’s not even get started on how they barely resemble a classic checkerboard pattern—they look more like some weird away kit, but honestly, I don't even want to describe what they actually look like... I’m not trying to insult the designer because, let's be real, any major brand would probably screw up this badly, but still. If Smith is taking envelopes from Nike to make sure we're rocking their gear, he better make sure the payoff is worth it so we can stick with Nike for a long time, because frankly, I am terrified of what any other brand might try to pull on us.

👍
Regarding the current design, I think putting the red front and center is a solid move, though they really should have swapped out that blue for the numbers and gone with something like white instead. 🤷
I’m not feeling the away kits at all since they just give me major flashbacks to those kits from the start of the millennium.
The warmup jacket is actually great. 😍

I’ve gotta say, I think this jersey is pretty solid too, though if I’m being totally honest, I’m much more obsessed with the away kit—that white one is just better.

Donna Thompson19 said:Obama ordered them to switch to a red background instead of blue. Honestly, I think any sane person can see exactly why he did that. 👎

🙏
Personally, I actually think this new look with the red background is way more appealing than what we had before, especially since the previous version was just plain hideous 👎

😁
But I'm pretty sure German 🙏
Honestly, I think Norway will get to play Iceland before we even see a single move from Dance. It’s probably for the best that they’re kicking things off first, though; it gives us a chance to figure out if Kopljar is actually stepping onto the court or if we're just hoarding him for the semifinals 😁.
Plus, it works out perfectly in our favor if those Norwegians end up facing Iceland or Denmark in some group stage matchup if they pull off a win, so we can be 100% certain everything is lining up for us. 😁
mellowcrane41 said:So Norway just takes Iceland's spot and we just carry on?
..though let's be honest, we haven't exactly had great luck when they play "for us."

We could always just bump them out since they actually have a shot at the semifinals; honestly, this whole tournament is so unpredictable that why shouldn't they get a crack at it? Of course, then it all comes down to how we perform, and frankly, nobody wants that kind of pressure on their shoulders.😁
