electricbadger23 said:So, the plan is set: Hilton, Quattro, and Maja Peric for photography =))
And the date got pushed back by 9 months. Yay, life... =))

Thanks for all the help, everyone =)) 🙏🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍

And we're going with the Quatro Band too, 😍 though for the photographer, we actually decided on Studio 69 out of El Paso,
just so everyone who isn't in the loop knows—the wedding expo starts on January 16th at the Hilton and runs through Sunday...
Could someone please take a look at my blood work? My rheumatologist sent these results over to me.

AUTOIMMUNE SEROLOGY
anti dsDNA 1
ENA screen positive
anti ss a/ro 23
anti ss b/la 3
anti sm 4
anti sm/rnp 7
anti jo 1 6
anti scl 70 133
anti histone 9

I am particularly concerned about the positive ENA screen, since the report mentions it really should be negative—what does that imply? Also, my anti scl 70 came back at 133, even though the normal range is listed as 100-120.
if anyone could offer some insight, I would truly appreciate it...
thanks in advance

Mark Nguyen11 said:In my opinion, Rahela, Krizmanic, or Studio 69 are the best options. I've always heard good things about them.

By the way: Rahela is booked up starting June 11th for a year. 😁 😁 😁

Personally, I think Studio 69 is the best, though they are quite pricey... you can find them on Facebook under Six Nine Studio...
They're actually fully booked for October 8th, 2011. 😍

I figured I’d weigh in here for a second... I actually dropped by Bugarin’s (which is basically like a local Whole Foods setup) the other day to talk about some home catering. Honestly, the pricing seems pretty reasonable, and I have to say, I was actually quite impressed with what I saw. They have three different tiers to choose from, and the most budget-friendly option starts at $25 per person. Though, if you ask me, you don't even need to worry about getting an exact headcount, because the portion sizes he offers per person are massive—you could probably feed three people with one serving. That price covers everything: Midwest-style meat platters, various fresh salads, pasta salads, bread, cheese and ham pastries, fruit, full cutlery sets, the buffet tables themselves, the bar setup, all the table arrangements, and enough servers to match your guest list. I’m genuinely thrilled with the selection; everything looks incredibly high-end. There are also more premium packages if you want hot entrees and a variety of gourmet sandwiches... you can even rent tents, umbrellas, and coolers from him. I suppose he really provides the whole package if you're trying to host something at your house.

Does anyone happen to know where I might be able to rent some traditional folk costumes for kids? I’m looking for one boy's outfit and one girl's outfit, I guess.

Could I get Jane's number too? Also, if anyone happens to have a contact for some Daria who does makeup...

David Ramos25 said:I am not certain; they say one should book her much further in advance...
My wedding is scheduled for May of next year, but that falls right in the middle of peak wedding season, and Easter is far too early... everything seems to be clashing at once.

On another note, does anyone happen to have a contact number for Maya Perry for photography?
And what would the approximate cost be?

Ugh, I actually had her number once, but I've managed to lose it somewhere. You can probably find her on Facebook, though...🙂

Everything seems to be booked up, and I'm hoping she isn't too... if I can even track her down... 😢
I saw a bride who used her services, and I was genuinely impressed...

How far in advance am I actually supposed to book these things?

silentstag02 said:It's the same crew. One guy is from Indianapolis, the other's from Memphis, but they run the studio out of Memphis. Did you even ask what their rates are??

The wedding is in October, right? June and July were totally booked up, weren't they??
So, did you end up deciding on Zelenkrov? Hehe

Sorry I'm a little late to the party here... 🤣 yes, it is the same duo, and I have to say, they really are worth praising 👍 . I've seen some of their work, and honestly, it's phenomenal 🙏 . As for their pricing for next year $3667 , they don't really do those tiered packages. Their price includes an hour-long DVD and 1,000 photos, and keep in mind that every single photo is edited—you won't just get some random shot where someone's head is cut off or something. I was a bit skeptical about the DVD since it's only an hour long, but once I saw it, I was actually impressed; they basically edit out all that boring footage you usually find yourself fast-forwarding through at weddings, so the editing is great. So, that's my take on Studio 69; I am definitely booking them... as for Zelenkrov... well, yeah, obviously Zelenkrov... they are fully booked until September. If I recall correctly, they only had one date left in August and maybe one in September when I went to put down a deposit for the venue about three months ago. I'm pretty happy because I managed to secure everything I wanted... Zelenkrov, The Beatles, and Studio 69...🤣 🙂

Henry Ortiz18 said:I'm pretty sure they're actually based out of El Paso. If you check their Facebook page, you should be able to reach them there—that’s how I managed to get a hold of them. Honestly, they might even have their phone number listed right on their profile, but I can't say for certain. Look for "six-nine studio."

From what I can gather, the ones I'm actually looking for are from Vinkovci. I’ve watched some of their work on YouTube and everywhere mentions Vinkovci, but then a girl gave me a contact number, and when I called, it turned out to be those guys from El Paso... I honestly don't know if it's the same crew or what might be going on there.

Does anyone happen to have a contact number for Studio 69 over in Vinkovci? They handle photography and video work, and I’m in a bit of a rush to get a hold of them... thanks a lot.

rowdypanther16 said:Oh man, sorry! I totally went MIA on this forum for a bit. So, looking at a budget of roughly $1,350—which is just under ten bucks if you're counting differently, haha$0.00—honestly, you really can't go wrong with either Greencrest or The Four Band, they're both solid choices👍.

Well, I actually put down a deposit for both the Green Roof and the Quattro for October 8th of next year, so I guess I am exactly that 🤣 type of person. Though, I have to admit, I'm feeling a little skeptical. Ten months is a long wait, and I'm worried the weather might turn cold by then. Everyone keeps telling me it's actually the perfect time because you avoid those brutal summer heatwaves without hitting the freezing temperatures, so... yeah...🤷 But I suppose the big decision is made. Now I just need a photographer. I'm thinking about calling a guy over at Studio 69 in Small Town, USA this coming Monday to see if he's available..

Has anyone here actually used the banquet hall owned by Peter and Anne over in Cherry Hill? I’m looking for some honest feedback on their track record... I’ve been eyeing the Zelenkov venue, but honestly, the price tag feels a bit steep. Don't get me wrong, the space itself looks incredible and the service seems top-notch, but I can't help feeling like I might be overpaying. I’m trying to find something with a similar vibe but maybe a little more budget-friendly. If anyone has any suggestions or knows of a decent alternative, I’d really appreciate it!

Man... I really, really hope that rumor isn't true. I guess hope dies last, right? But man...😢

I suppose I should address this, though I’m not entirely sure where to begin. It feels like we're circling the same drain without actually making any progress. I might be wrong, of course—I could easily be misinterpreting the entire situation—but there seems to be a fundamental disconnect here that everyone is just choosing to ignore. It’s a bit frustrating, if I’m being honest. We spend all this time debating the minutiae while missing the actual point. Maybe I'm just being overly pedantic, but I can't help but feel like we're spinning our wheels. It’s almost as if the more we discuss it, the further we drift from any semblance of a coherent solution. I guess that’s just how these things go sometimes, isn't it? kaže:
We’re looking at a four-piece band $1,500 USD, too. $3.25I mean, we put down a deposit last July for a nine-month term, but since we're looking at this year now, I’m honestly not sure if the pricing stayed the same. It might have shifted.

Good grief, why so early? I’m actually starting to worry I won't be able to lock them down. I don't have the wedding party planned until the summer of 2027, and since I’m currently out of the country, I can't even put down a deposit before mid-June. I guess I just hope I can manage to book them in time.

rowdypanther16 said:Hey guys, so I finally tied the knot last Saturday, and honestly? I’m still buzzing. Everything turned out absolutely perfect, just how I dreamed it would be 🙂 My mom actually took on the whole sewing project herself—she made my wedding gown, the after-party dress, and even all the dresses for the bridesmaids, flower girls, and my maid of honor. It was such a special touch and everything fit like a glove 🙂 For my hair, I went to my usual stylist, who always nails it 🙂 Then there was my makeup artist from MAC Cosmetics, who did an incredible job; she gave me exactly the look I was going for, so I can't recommend her enough. As for the venue, we used a gorgeous spot out in the suburbs—top-tier service all around. The band, Quattro, was a total blast and kept everyone dancing! Oh, and the flowers were from a local boutique florist in the Midwest. Seriously, everything was just flawless 🙂

If I were in my sixth month of planning, I'd probably be putting down deposits for The Beatles and the Microsoft ballroom right now... could you tell me what the booking fee for The Beatles usually runs?

Does anyone happen to have the contact info for Studio 69 over in Richmond? I'd really appreciate it if you could send it my way. Thanks.

Matthew Foster66 said:Excuse me if I’m being a bit of a busybody here—I know, I know, 🙂—but I’ve finally picked out my wedding dress. It is, without question, the most stunning gown in existence, and honestly, probably the most expensive one in the shop, too. 😢 I’ve already made peace with the price tag—after all, you only do this once in a lifetime, right?—but now a little wave of panic has hit me. I realized I completely forgot to ask the consultants at the boutique: what happens if something actually happens to the dress? Like, if there’s a tiny tear or some unexpected damage... am I the one stuck footing the bill for repairs? 😢

From what I understand, you aren't supposed to pay anything extra if things get dirty or if there's an accidental tear somewhere. I mean, I’m assuming all of that should just be covered under the rental fee. For the kind of money we're shelling out, everything really ought to be included in the price.🙂

I honestly think you should probably get that venue and the band booked sooner rather than later. Wedding season is absolutely hitting everyone at once right now, and if you don't lock them down, you might find yourselves left out in the cold. It’s just my two cents, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to be proactive.🙂

Yeah, yeah... I'm definitely planning on booking all that. I'll get the DJ, the band, and a photographer too. I'm hoping that covers everything, though I suppose there’s always a chance it might not be enough. Maybe. 🙂

I think I’m dealing with a slightly different kind of headache here. We’re planning our wedding for next July, but since we live outside the States, we’ve decided to host it back home in St. Louis. I’ll be heading back to the US at the start of this summer, and my goal is to get the venue booked then. We’ll have a band and a photographer lined up, and since my sister is handling all the floral arrangements, I don't have to worry too much about that side of things—I just need to coordinate with her. The plan is to stay in the US for a few weeks this summer and hopefully hammer out most of the big details. But the catch is, once I leave again, the next time I’ll actually be on the ground will be only two months before the wedding date. Honestly, I’m starting to panic a little about how I'm going to manage everything from a distance. I know my parents will step in to help as much as they can, but still... So, my question is: should I be looking to reserve anything else while I'm there this summer? And do you think two months is enough lead time to handle the remaining logistics? I'm really hoping this forum can give me some clarity on this.🙂😁
