How far in advance did you guys finalize everything with your florist? My venue includes centerpieces in the rental fee, so I checked with them yesterday to see when I should actually sit down with the florist. I want to go over the table setups and also coordinate our personal bouquet and sweetheart table arrangements—they aren't included in the venue price, but the florist gives a massive discount if we book through them. The venue staff told me to just head over about ten days before the big day... isn't that cutting it way too close?!!

Jaooooo... it’s way easier when everything is just in one spot... otherwise I can't make up my mind, haha...

1. Yeah, but does anyone know if I can pick up those reveres at the farmers market in St. Louis?? I have to head through St. Louis anyway on my way down to the Panama Canal Zone...

2. Anyone know someone who does makeup at that local boutique in Indianapolis? Any experiences??

Does anyone know if it's cheaper to pick up lapel pin supplies in Canada? Or maybe over in Canada... I think someone mentioned a specific shop in Harkanje on one of the other threads once...

The Sator from Viggo Mortensen is 5x7 and goes for $233. They’ve only got 10 in stock and they’re always flying off the shelves... better to grab one now if you can. At least that’s what they told me when I called.

In Mexico, a pound of cake costs $13! And you can bring a liter of alcohol per person... sodas are way cheaper too, like a case of Coca-Cola with eight 2-liter bottles is only $22..

Maybe around thirty... you know, just your standard wedding classic...

Thanks!🙂

The Crown was handing out cookies at the fair yesterday... $22 Per pound, or say if you're from a small town, USA or out in Vigor... $18 Per pound...

Thanks everyone! I was thinking about swinging by Smith or Baghdad's places to pick out some drinks... still undecided on desserts, but those folks from Smalltown, USA looked pretty good at the fair yesterday... I just need stuff for the get-together at my place since the hall has everything covered, and my husband is stuck out in Pittsburgh again, so he'll probably grab something for them while he's out there...

Where are you guys picking up drinks—both sodas and alcohol—plus the desserts for hosting guests before heading out to church and the reception hall? Looking for spots around Indianapolis and the surrounding areas... also, are you planning on having pre-packaged treats to hand out to people as they leave the venue? How much should I actually get?

..It seems like this forum is a goldmine for good information, which is super!
..We’re just starting to get organized, but we're taking it slow since we have a full year to prepare.. I was wondering if anyone might know where I could rent some white event tents in the Midwest? We'd need enough space for about 100 people, just in case it rains when the groom comes to pick me up.. and does anyone have an idea of what the approximate cost might be?? thanks 😉

Vigus from Indianapolis was at the Wedding Expo today. They have a branch in Indianapolis behind the Super store too, and they have a 5x7 tent for $233, not sure if they carry other sizes...

Kayla, you got the dates wrong. Jan 16th is a Sunday. The fair actually kicks off on Friday the 14th and runs through the 16th... you can find the full schedule over at Chicago

👍

It’s not even that far... 🙂 Have you ever had someone do an updo or formal hair for you before? Just because a stylist is great at cuts doesn't mean they can handle wedding hair...

Anyone have recommendations in Indianapolis for a wedding hairstyle? I’ve already got the makeup and nails figured out, but I’m totally lost on hair... don't really hit the salon much lately.

Anyone here dealt with Patricia's catering over in Liberty? Also curious if anyone’s worked with Getty Images... thanks.

Regarding the music scene, I’d suggest checking out Bravo Band
As for the photography, Mijic handled my shots—all credit goes to him and his crew.👍

By the way, word on the street from the folks over at Brođanka is that they heard on the radio today that Patricia's hall in a small town, USA is offering a honeymoon in Malibu to any newlyweds who book their venue before the end of the year.😍

We booked that hall, but they told us the gift only applies if you have 250 guests or more. If it's a smaller crowd, there's still some kind of perk, but I can't remember what...

Jesse Brooks3 said:Hey everyone, I really need some quick advice! I’m originally from a coastal area, but I’ll be heading out to a small town, USA for my in-laws' place soon. I'm in desperate need of music recommendations—please send over any DJs or bands you know that are actually good! Also, if anyone has leads on a solid photographer or videographer, let me know... seriously, please shoot me their numbers or any info you have. Hvalaaaa in advance! 😕

Not sure what else you're hunting for, but I'd highly recommend the band Amazon out of New Orleans. They're playing our wedding this July. 555-012-3456

As for video, we used Getty Images. You can find them online or on Facebook.
