So, I just watched this King of Kings flick on Netflix, they’re calling it the best movie ever made about Jesus
Personally, I find the way they portray Rome way more interesting. You couldn't take down an empire like that with the weak stuff we see today—none of this soft, sensitive behavior from those modern Italians. Those guys knew how to lose an entire army in battle and still rise from the ashes like a phoenix. We'll never see an empire like that again. ☕
I honestly thought they’d pull a massive crowd, like a packed house, but nope—total bust.
Regarding the filming stuff... look, I’m not some celebrity, the government isn't cutting me a paycheck, and I’m definitely not a politician. So, you can't just expect me to roll out in front of a camera just because I happen to be standing in a public space. Honestly, screw that. 😁 There’s nothing more annoying than seeing news crews lurking around, usually at a local mall or something, where you have to constantly watch your step just so you don't end up on the nightly news at 6 PM. Do they have the right to film? Sure. But who are they actually filming and when?
It’s the same rule I live by for pretty much everything—my rights stop the second they start infringing on someone else's personal space. That’s my absolute golden rule for life, period.
Whether it’s a church or just heading to Target, if people want to follow the rules, fine by me. People need spiritual renewal too, I’m not judging—I’ve never really felt that personal pull myself, though maybe one day I will. But man, if there had been a packed house full of people... now *that* would have been actual news.
Man, these soul-crushing video messages they shove down our throats every single day all about what's happening in Italy are seriously getting on my nerves. Just stay home, stay home, listen to the government, stay home, this disease isn't a joke, stay home... it's straight-up brainwashing. We don't get any news from the other 200 countries fighting COVID-19—some are winning, some aren't, but not one of those places has looked as much of a total disaster zone as Italy. If the average number of sick people and deaths is supposed to be "x," and you see some fluctuations up or down within expected ranges, but then Italy hits 10x or 20x or whatever (I'm not even looking at the numbers, I can't deal right now), then that doesn't tell us anything about the virus itself—it tells us everything we need to know about that country.
And our TV networks? They just obsess over Italy constantly. For crying out loud, show us something else! If you aren't going to report on things outside of Europe, at least show us how the Slovaks, Czechs, or Poles are handling it.
Stozer is such a joke. Now that stores can stay open later, damn, COVID-19 is a true believer, and he’s gonna spend these next two days just chilling at home 😁
Elizabeth Mendoza said:What makes us any different? Our healthcare system is drowning in debt, hospitals are falling apart, and we’re facing a massive shortage of doctors and nurses everywhere you look.
A buddy of mine lives over in Slovakia, and man, they have strict mask mandates outdoors—no exceptions. The streets are empty. Only essential workers are allowed out to keep things running. They basically implemented a total lockdown. He was telling me today that the military might even be patrolling the streets during the holidays.
They have a few more cases than us, but half as many, and only two deaths. How can they possibly be doing better?
Okay, but honestly? Screw a life like that. A month or two? Fine. But experts are saying it’ll take two years to roll out vaccines and treatments, so they think staying in these kinds of quarantines is the best move. Are they out of their minds? 🤣
It’s all just because certain people can't stop stuffing their faces every single second. And now they're starting the whole PR spin to act like none of this is their fault.
Honestly, this whole thing is just a total mess. Like, if some massive organization like the NFL can basically let people move around wherever they want without a permit, then what's stopping some local bureaucrat in a small town from doing the same? It’s all just one big circle of permission—everyone's giving everyone else the green light, even though none of them actually have the legal authority to pull it off in the first place. 😁
Honestly, this whole thing feels like they’re just pulling these measurements and restrictions straight out of thin air. I mean, you can wander from Brooklyn through New York City all the way to Spain and bump into half a million people without anyone even looking your way. But then, try leaving your small town to head to the next city over? You can't move an inch without some bureaucrat giving you the green light. It’s wild—you can't even get a few thousand people together to take to the streets and line up 😁
Then again, there’s a tiny part of me that kind of finds this funny. Every little village used to dream of becoming its own municipality, wanting total independence and the right to call all the shots. Well, here you go—now you realize you're always tied to the big city no matter what.
I can't even deal right now. Honestly. Just looking at this whole mess makes me want to just stare at a wall for three hours. Like, seriously? Is anyone actually surprised by this? I feel like I’m watching a slow-motion car crash on repeat. Anyway, I was scrolling through Reddit earlier—you know how it is—and seeing everyone lose their minds over the latest news. It's wild. People are acting like we haven't seen this exact script played out a dozen times before. It's all just noise at this point. Total noise. And don't even get me started on what people are saying on Twitter. It's a circus. A literal circus. Everyone has an opinion, nobody has a clue, and somehow we're all supposed to pretend this is normal? Give me a break. It's exhausting. I'm just sitting here, sipping my coffee, wondering when the absurdity is actually going to peak. Because honestly, I think we might have already hit the ceiling. Or maybe not. Who knows? Everything is just... a lot. kaže: Did you even bother to check their temperature?🙂
You know how you check in on your real ones? That's how you measure the temperature between good friends.
Don't even sweat it, man. Knowing how soul-crushing and slow-moving American bureaucracy can be, you’ll probably be sitting in isolation by the time that pension check actually hits your account. 👍
Man, honestly? Just leave them alone about the donations. Seriously. Every time I see people calling out athletes online to pitch in, I just think—hey, why don't *you* donate? Based on their monthly salaries, they’re already paying enough in taxes to cover what most of us here struggle to pay in several years combined. But sure, because they have the money, they should just hand it over too. What a joke.
Peter Thompson4 said:Honestly, let the whole thing just burn to the ground and start over from scratch.
Even if we strike it lucky and actually survive these endless crises, once the entire monetary system collapses and we're forced to live out some crazy Star Trek timeline...☕
I'm all for it. We honestly just need one decent war to kickstart everything.☕
I can totally see Greta Thunberg leading one of the factions.
Man, buying yeast in a massive city like Washington, D.C. is just wild to me. There’s bread everywhere you look—like, seriously, it’s constant. It’s such a trip compared to when I’m out in the countryside; you don't even have to go looking for a store, and honestly, out there, everyone seems to have that habit of just baking their own damn bread anyway.
I swear, I’m so done with this country and everyone backing these kinds of rules. Honestly, I hope we all just catch something, because dealing with this nonsense is way worse.
