I know how this guy’s been standing on the front lines against Bandic for years now, and honestly, I respect the hustle. He’s got his own principles and he sticks to them, even if his vision for the city just isn't my cup of tea. It’s not like I’m the first person to call him out today 🙂
But whatever, do what you gotta do. I figure I can still weigh in from the sidelines like this.
Caught a bit of the Sunday afternoon news at two. Man, I seriously can't stand this kind of demagoguery; it takes me right back to those protests against the construction over on Cvjetan. Instead of getting a real leader like Hrebar, we're gonna end up stuck with these absolute windbags.
Dealing with dogs is honestly just like dealing with toddlers—if they’re being total brats, everyone ends up having a miserable time. No one should be forced to deal with my kid (or my dog) just tearing through the house like a maniac.
Arabs eat crap if they aren't already doing it like Chinese people do, but the fact that they're crazy in their own special way? That’s a whole different conversation entirely. 😁
You can eat just about anything, honestly, but you gotta prep for it properly. Don't go in unprepared, let it drain you, and then just sit there and soak up the loss 🤣
It’s not even a big deal when guys like that crash and burn; the real fun is when we absolutely wreck them 😁
I've been scrolling through those videos of those massive Chinese markets lately. They've always been around, but suddenly everyone's obsessed with them here in the States. Honestly, what blows my mind is how they don't just catch some crazy disease and drop dead every five minutes. 🤣
And then you have people waxing poetic about this mystical, wonderful culture. Give me a break. Imagine getting sliced up and eaten right in the middle of a crowded market. 🤣
I’m watching this show on CBS about a woman rescuing dogs, and man, my head is spinning hearing all this nonsense. If we don't drastically toughen up the penalties for animal abuse, what are we even doing? It feels like half the people in this country grew up in homes where they were never taught basic decency, but that's exactly why the government needs to step in like a strict parent and beat some sense into them.
I actually have relatives like that in my extended family—people I had to completely cut off from the rest of the clan because of how they handle problems involving cats and dogs.🙄
Anyway, it's funny someone actually pointed that out. In Washington, D.C., if there’s a bit of smog for three days, people act like it’s the literal end of the world and the news won't stop talking about it. Meanwhile, cities like Gary, Indiana, have been breathing in filth for twenty years straight and nobody even blinks.
The cat is definitely the coolest, while the rabbit is easily the most high-maintenance. Honestly, if you want a companion for any kind of social situation, a dog is hands down the best animal out there. Personally, though, I vibe way more with the cat and its whole lifestyle.
And seriously, who on earth buys a cat? You should be rescuing them from the streets. 😍
If the owner kicks the bucket, the dog would just sit there howling until it finally gave up the ghost. Then the cat would probably eat you, and then find its own way out.
From what I can gather, there’s quite a significant amount of time passing throughout the series, which would explain why they look older despite everything. Both her and Geralt of Rivia seem to show it. Still, she carries herself with the air of a young girl.
Personally? It’s just bad casting for me. Even if the show establishes she's over 100, she still looks like she's playing a teenager. Yennefer needs to actually look like a grown woman.
Elizabeth Mendoza said:The series actually takes place before the books and the games based on those books.
Yeah, sure, but only for the first few episodes. By the time Geralt meets Ciri, he and Yennefer are basically old folks. They totally botched the timeline, honestly. Because they messed up the chronological flow, viewers who haven't read the source material have zero clue how a massiveaaaa amount of years passed between all those events.
In the games, Yennefer is way older, and Geralt is too. Here, we’re just seeing this kid who’s still finding her footing as a sorceress.
Yeah, honestly, it's tough to keep track of everything happening at once. I don't want to spoil anything regarding Duny, but they really could have handled the explanation of the Law of Surprise a lot better.
Nilfgaard is also pretty poorly written. You get this impression they're just some bunch of religious fanatics, even though there's actually a reason why they targeted Cintra specifically—not that I want to 😁 spoil anything—but they're more like the Roman Empire; they just invade and conquer everything because they're constantly expanding. The show makes them look like these one-dimensional villains, when they're actually much better for the elves and dwarves, for example. The series just doesn't show that; it builds them up to be nothing but bad guys.

If he maintains this level of consistency, he arguably possesses more statesmanlike potential than any of the uncharismatic presidents we've seen since 2000. He is clearly far more intelligent than the faction that elected him based on pseudo-ideological whims, and he is already distancing himself from that rude mob trying to ride his coattails. Authoritative and stylish—I'll be quiet now. ☕
He would certainly be much better suited to an executive role than serving as Prime Minister.
And as those folks from the Central Valley said, let’s finally get a President Vlaj from there too. Good luck, Zoki, you're going to need it. ☕
Caught a clip of it, looks pretty decent so far. Wishing him the best.

That’s just Zoran for you. 😁 Plenković honestly has that total Eurocratic vibe down pat. He’s basically built for being sent off to some remote corner of the world as a glorified spokesperson just to hand out those "strongly worded condemnations" from the EU. It’s perfect. 😁
