Seriously, this is hands down the biggest pile of trash I’ve ever sat through. The movie starts off feeling like something decent until that Terminator-zombie shows up, and then it just completely falls apart into total garbage.
Honestly, hearing Hugo Weaving’s voice in every single scene is the only thing keeping this from being an absolute zero—it gives the film a momentary lift—but then every other scene just drags it right back down into the dirt.🤣

Out of the 843 people convicted of rape in Sweden between 2012 and 2017: 40% were born in the Middle East/Africa and 58% were foreign nationals. That number jumps all the way to 84% when you look at violent or gang rape convictions. Conviction rates are pretty low though: only 142 rape convictions in 2016, despite 6,715 rapes being reported that year. Plus, there were 190,000 serious sexual offenses logged. So, some argue foreigners might be overrepresented in the conviction stats because of things like bad legal defense or discrimination, etc. Second-gen immigrants aren't called out in this specific dataset because Sweden doesn't track ethnic origin for people born in the country. It’s basically impossible to tell what percentage of those labeled "Swedish Born" are actually Swedish born Arab of ethnic minority. This is coming straight from SVT, so it's a legit source. Honestly, screw Odyssey. And I’m saying that as someone who has binged basically every sci-fi flick ever made—it’s my absolute favorite genre, the only one worth watching.
It’s just like when people talk about Kumam; you say you dig those movies and suddenly you’re some kind of ultimate authority with the "correct" taste.
There are plenty of movies out there, just like there are plenty of women—stop being picky and watch everything. Life’s too short.
