Bobis, Delta, Hrstic, House of Cakes, Star Brand, Babic, Zenith... which bakery did you end up choosing, and what’s the damage when it comes to wedding cake and dessert pricing?

Where did you all go to pick up invitations and RSVP cards in Savannah?

Has anyone here actually eaten at Pirate or over at Boban? I'm curious to hear some honest takes on the food quality and the service levels there.

Does anyone happen to know of a decent hair salon that specializes in formal updos? I need someone who can handle a full styling session, including properly securing a veil. It needs to be done right.😁

I'm looking for some solid recommendations for hair styling and makeup services in the Los Angeles area. Any suggestions?
Hi there. I’m looking to send a package overseas to a friend in the USA for their birthday. According to the FedEx website, I need to declare a value for the shipment, but I’d really prefer to avoid my friend getting hit with unexpected customs fees or whatever else comes with that. Could someone explain how sending a package marked as a gift actually works?

Does anyone have a solid recommendation for a beauty salon in Los Angeles that actually knows what they're doing with hair and makeup? 😁 Thanks in advance
William Jones30 said:Once you file a claim, the most you're going to get back is five times what you paid for the shipping cost.

Under the Postal Service Act, the USPS is required to compensate the sender or any authorized party for domestic shipments in the following scenarios:
1. For loss, total damage, or diminished contents:
- Registered mail—up to five times the amount charged for postage.

If you had sent this package with a declared value—you know, via a standard parcel, an insured letter, or an expedited service—you would have been covered up to that specific declared amount.

In other words, don't ever send anything valuable via standard registered mail. It’s a mistake. Always declare the value so you actually have the right to a full reimbursement if something goes missing.

I sent the package via registered mail with a payment receipt; I filled out the slip and the white form where I specified the package value and everything else... and they lost it anyway. Honestly, I can't believe it. What would have happened if I'd just sent it as regular mail? 😁 It isn't a massive amount of money, but I refuse to let this slide on principle. They're being completely unprofessional...
Much appreciated, Angela Flores76 😍
I have a question for the group... Our beloved Postal Service managed to lose a certified shipment of mine. It was sent COD, naturally. The recipient never received a thing, yet I haven't seen a dime in reimbursement either. I sent it fifteen days ago. I have the claim form filled out and ready to go, but could someone walk me through the next steps? Specifically, how do I actually get my money back for both the package value and the shipping costs? ☕
Thanks for the heads-up 🙏
I have a quick question. When you send a package via Cash on Delivery, does the mail carrier bring the money directly back to the sender's door? Is there any need to generate an invoice or anything like that?

You aren't alone in this; I deal with the exact same thing more often than I'd care to admit. As for the physical pain, don't even get me started. Even after I've popped an Advil, I can end up feeling completely wiped out. It’s the kind of exhaustion that just lingers for two or three days straight.

Hello there. I have a question for the group. Last month, I dealt with a heavy period that lasted five days. This month, however, things have shifted; it’s been going on for a week now, though I wouldn't even call it a period. It's really just a few drops of blood a day. Can anyone shed some light on what might be happening? Could it be stress, a hormonal imbalance, or perhaps something else entirely? Thanks in advance.
