Look, let's be real, Bill Belichick is a total disaster! I need to get away from her clinic ASAP. There is zero chance that woman even gives you a proper look unless you're opening your wallet, and even then? Once you pay for that $67 ultrasound, the whole appointment lasts maybe three minutes—and if you're trying to use your insurance through Blue Cross, you're lucky to get ninety seconds. It's absolutely pathetic.
The place is always packed, too. One time I walked in and there were 13 different women already there, all booked within the exact same ten-minute window. Pure insanity.

If either of them has ever played at a wedding you attended, could you let me know? I'm also totally open to other suggestions if you have them. Thanks a ton!
I actually hired DJ dupli once. He was absolutely killer—honestly such a great guy to work with! I can't recommend him enough. 🙂
northerntinker13 said:Hey everyone! Quick question—does anyone know the actual capacity of the Adriatic Grašo restaurant in San Francisco if there's a DJ playing? I've heard a bunch of different numbers, so I wanted to see if anyone here actually knows for sure. People told me they could fit about 90 people if a DJ is set up, but honestly, that feels like a bit of a stretch to me 😁
Thanks a ton!
You can definitely fit 90. One table gets a little cramped—like, it doesn't have as much breathing room as the others—but it works out fine. I actually had a wedding at Graša with about 75 guests; it was originally supposed to be closer to 90, so I set up the seating chart for 90 people just to be safe, and everything went smoothly. Plus, I had a DJ too.
I had my wedding at The Cheesecake Factory, and honestly, if I ever decided to do the whole thing all over again, that’s where I’d go. There was never even a second choice for me—it was always Grayson. Everything turned out perfectly; the food was killer, the service was top-notch, and the location? Man, it goes without saying. It was incredible.🙂
If you’re tired of that mainstream, cookie-cutter pop garbage and actually want to hear some decent, high-quality music, then you seriously need to check out DJ Damir Duplančić from San Francisco.
Aside from Delta and Bobis over in Split, where else can I track down some actually decent wedding cakes and pastries? I'm looking for something with a proper certification, but let’s be real—I don't want to pay through the nose like I'm buying solid gold.
Man, listen to these people spinning these ridiculous stories. I honestly feel for anyone caught up in this mess. If it were me? I’d be suing them blind, those idiots!
As for me, I’m just sitting here waiting on my stock payouts from Wells Fargo... since my brokers all had accounts there. Now I’m left wondering how on earth I’m going to pay for my own wedding. Isn't that just great? Just wonderful.

A friend of mine used Studio Val, and she was seriously happy with how things turned out. I've seen the photos myself—they look solid, pretty clean work.
Anyone here dealt with Photo Adria before?
Anyone got a solid recommendation for a good florist in Miami? I’m looking to spruce up a restaurant—but I’m definitely not interested in those old-school, cliché bouquets sitting on the tables... I want those tall, dramatic martini glass arrangements with the flowers inside. Does anyone know a spot where I can pull this off without the prices hitting the stratosphere?
Lawrence Wells said:Pimpinella does an incredible job with their catering—I've used them before and they never miss a beat. :chef_kiss: 🙂
Seriously though, their food is incredible. If I ever needed catering for an event, they’d be my only call.
Joshua Hughes8 said:Oh my gosh, girls, I seriously need some help!!! I really wanted Papaya Studio to handle the photos and video for my wedding, but they’re already booked for our date 🙂 🙂 🙂
Everything about them was just perfect... and now I'm searching for something similar, but I can't find anything quite right in the Miami area. I looked into Matić, but his pricing is absolutely insane, and honestly, he isn't even better than Papaya—if anything, he's actually worse. I'm also not interested in those big agencies with huge teams, so FotoDalmacia is out (especially since I've heard some questionable things about them)... and so far, nothing I've found really captures that same vibe Papaya has. Please, if anyone has any suggestions or good experiences to share, let me know!!!
Also, if any of you ladies who are already married could give me some advice—is it okay to bring my own makeup? I have a few specific products that work perfectly with my skin, and I really don't want a makeup artist applying stuff that doesn't suit me. I'll pay the full rate, obviously, I just want to know if stylists are usually open to using client-provided products if I insist on it. I have a couple of people in mind, but I haven't reached out to them yet 🤷
I was in the exact same boat wanting only Papaya, but they were fully booked for our date too. It took me a while to find a replacement that actually lived up to the standard, but I eventually landed on Photo Adria. Their shots look incredible, and I've heard nothing but praise from friends who used them at their weddings. Now we just wait and see how it turns out 🙂
Yeah, I know he doesn't play any country music, which is exactly why I was looking for him in the first place, but I just haven't had the chance to catch him live yet.
Lawrence Wells said:It’s awesome! 🙂
I mean, I know people listen to all sorts of country music, even some Thompson tracks, which I'm totally down with, but for the life of me, I can't find a decent playlist of his stuff anywhere...
Has anyone here actually dealt with DJ Double? Or maybe someone's worked with Double-man? What’s his deal like?
Benjamin Hill10 said:Look, just letting you know I'm actually acting as a bridesmaid for a wedding at Manhattan right now, and honestly, everything went exactly how you're fearing. Like, the party was for maybe 30 people and the hall felt tiny... if you catch my drift. Everything was basically a last-minute scramble.
Right. So, I swung by the local parish office earlier. They told me straight up they aren't booking dates for next year yet—only for the current one. Apparently, they don't open up the calendar until December. So, I'm planning to head back there first thing on December 1st to get my name on the list. In the meantime, I went ahead and snagged the reservation at Graso anyway, just so I'm not left hanging when it comes time to eat.
Hey, I’m a local here in San Francisco—does anyone know if this is just how things work at other churches, or is it specific to them? I called the parish office at St. Francis today because my partner and I are dreaming of getting married at St. Stephen's Church in Manhattan next year. I wanted to lock in a date immediately so I could finally confirm everything with our venue; you know, get those two big pillars of wedding planning out of the way so I can actually breathe. But they told me they don't even start taking reservations for next year until the beginning of January. Honestly, I was floored. I can't exactly sit around waiting on the church when the restaurant is already booked solid and I’ve got nothing to show them to secure our spot. Has anyone else dealt with this kind of thing before? Is there any way to cut through the red tape and make a deal with them early? We’re really set on that specific church!
Hey guys, I need a little help here. Does anyone know where I can rent those white chair covers in the Bay Area? Also, what kind of prices am I looking at for something like that?
Hey guys, has anyone actually eaten at Red Lobster lately? I’m trying to get a feel for what the damage looks like on the bill and how the service holds up. Any takers?
