Amy Evans64 said:So, my partner is basically obsessed with how his suit looks. He was actually inches away from buying the exact same suit, shirt, and tie combo as the best man at the wedding yesterday... Ladies, please help a girl out—where are your men getting their sharpest fits?

Mine came from Veštit. It's in the city, down that street you take when you're walking from the bookstore toward the fruit market. Suit is fine. We're happy enough.

Sam Myers66 said:Hey, can someone who’s actually been there give me the lowdown on Benedict at Ben? I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews floating around, but I can’t quite put my finger on why people hate it so much. Also, what are we thinking for a backup plan if it rains? My biggest worry is the space—I don't think they can actually fit everyone inside. And am I being delusional for planning an outdoor wedding in September? Is it going to be freezing by then, or should I just move it up to August?

I was at a party there last September and the weather held up fine. Dinner was outdoors at the restaurant near Lora; it was warm during the day, and once night fell, a light jacket was plenty. They seem to offer both indoor and outdoor options, so you can pivot based on the weather. Honestly, though, the food left me wanting more, but I wasn't paying much attention back then.🤣

What about Gusar? It’s an enclosed setup but right on the coast. You also have Amigos and Joe over in Malibu, which were decent enough.
Just saw online that Joe does waterfront wedding events. I remember being there for a family gathering where the welcome drinks and appetizers were served outside on the beach before we moved everything indoors.

Hey, anyone here dealt with Gaspar Studio and Color before? Any idea if they're actually any good?
Used PC builds: What are they worth? in Desktops ·
Michael Barrett75 said:Maybe the seller will try to charge you for a top-tier AGP card and 2GB of RAM, but that tech is ancient. No way they want more than $400. Personally, I wouldn't go over $350.

For $100, you should be able to find some basic Core 2 Duo builds on Craigslist with an E6300 CPU and 2GB of RAM. That's a decent enough PC.

Thanks 🙂

I checked Craigslist, but there hasn't been much lately. I'll keep looking at what's out there.

It's not bad, but it's way too far from me. That's a long drive.
😉

Maybe for $300-$133 if you just need the basics.

I'm looking to buy. It would only be for basic stuff, like browsing the web and things... couldn't find much info on it online, so I thought I'd ask. thanks.🙂

Intel Pentium 4 processor
ASUS Motherboard
2GB RAM
160GB hard drive
ATI x1950 AGP graphics card
400W power supply
Mid Tower PC Case in black/gray with front USB ports
Windows XP or 7, whatever

Can someone give me the rundown on this build? What's the verdict... any thoughts?

I went to a party at Aria last year—it's the old Two Hearts restaurant location. I think the per-person cost was around $40, there were about 180 people there, and the space is incredible. It's completely renovated, looks amazing. Definitely the best hall I've been to...

I was at Aria (formerly Two Hearts) this past winter and the food was excellent, plus the space has been remodeled so everything feels brand new, clean, and polished...

On the flip side, an acquaintance told my friend that the food was absolutely terrible, like she could barely eat anything at all...
Then again, who knows, it’s all so subjective. Honestly, the best thing would be to just go and see for yourself, because you'll know once you're there. For me personally, the food isn't even the most important part; I care much more about whether people feel comfortable in the room and if they can actually have a good time with some decent music...

I was at Aria for a party less than six months ago. The venue looks great with all the lighting effects, and the food was solid (the beef stew was actually amazing), but the staff was a letdown. You have to ask for things two or three times before anyone notices you... Great hall and food, but the servers 👎
