Honestly, does it seem a little silly to you guys to leave the gift box or chest sitting right on the table where people are supposed to drop off cards and cash?

I honestly went out of my way to ask around early just so I’d know what was up. But it seems like that window around May and June is always the busiest, and things usually fill up fast. Back in 2018, it felt like everything happened at once—I literally managed to hammer out all the most important tasks in just two days.🎉
Hey ladies! It’s finally happening! 🥂 We just locked in October 6th, 2018, as our big day. Honestly, I couldn't believe how quickly people are already booking venues for that date! By the end of this month, we’re planning to have the hall, the photographer, and the band all squared away. Based on what we've seen, we've decided on the venue in Luksic—the manager there is absolutely wonderful, the food is great, they've got brand new lighting, and decorations are actually included in the price. My share for dinner comes out to $35. For photography, we went with Misha Photography from TG; the guy is fantastic, really easy to work with, and we love that his style isn't overdone with heavy filters. We're still weighing our options for the band, but we're leaning toward the Uber band. Even though their $2,200 price tag is a bit steep, we've listened to them a million times and their energy is just unmatched, so they'll likely be our pick. I'll let you know once we decide, because honestly, when you see those rental prices, you never truly know what you're getting... I don't need that kind of stress, and paying a little extra for peace of mind is worth it to me. I've also sorted out the catering—they're awesome, everything is covered except for my drinks and ice. We're going to tackle the rest of the planning bit by bit each month. Woohoo, it's coming so fast! 🥂

I'm just curious, I don't have any particular preference at all. 🙂
Word on the street is they're fantastic, though personally, I haven't tried them myself. As far as the price goes, I think it’s fair because you can tell they put a ton of work into every single little thing. But look, if you write it down and realize they're the cheapest option at $4.75 and you suddenly need 100 of them, that adds up fast. To me, they sound delicious, but it’s definitely a pricey endeavor. Maybe try looking on Facebook? I know an aunt who makes amazing homemade cakes, and that might end up being more budget-friendly. Just keep in mind, if you're planning a party, you'll need to check for a food handler's permit.

So, let me ask you—do you actually have a rental agreement in writing? If you’ve got photos from that first fitting, you should go after them. Either they refund your money or they give you the exact dress you paid for. Honestly, most brides don't just walk into a boutique and pick something at random without checking the details. You’re spending serious cash here, not pocket change, just to wear something special for one day. It's ridiculous to hand over your hard-earned money to someone you've only met a couple of times, only to have them turn around and cause drama or act condescending. Don't let them do that. With your own money, you can shop anywhere you want. Don't let anyone ruin your big day 😉
Yeah, "a little" is an understatement. Greece keeps its guard up and rarely lets things slide. My MRI showed my head and neck are fine, aside from some protrusion, but the doctors say that isn't what's causing this condition. I'm still waiting on the EMG results.
Hey everyone! I was wondering if anyone else here is dealing with this same diagnosis? Every time I search online, I can only find info meant for kids; there’s almost zero content out there regarding adult experiences. I'd love to hear about the treatments you're using, any side effects, or even small wins... honestly, anything helps. I was diagnosed last May, shortly after a minor car accident—nothing too crazy, just a whiplash situation—but the doctors aren't sure if that actually triggered it. None of my tests have pointed to a definitive cause yet. So far, I've gone through seven rounds of hospital-based physical therapy, plus some private therapists and acupuncture (which, honestly, has been a lifesaver for relaxing my muscles and grip). During the first month, I had some Allergan injections, which isn't covered by Medicare and ended up costing me $600. I'm not quite sure what else to say... please reach out and share your stories...

For the main course, you get black and white risotto, beef stew, chicken with gorgonzola (both served with gnocchi), and lamb. Drinks are included, though I can't recall the exact selection. You'll need to bring your own cakes or desserts. I've heard the catering is excellent too. They are quite accommodating with everything. Even their decorations are customizable; you can pick whatever color you want. Feel free to ask anything else.
What about the small details? For instance, do they provide chairs, or is that on us? Also, do they need a confectionery permit, and will they have vases available?🙂
crimsonmarlin17 said:We booked a small hall and expect about 80 guests. I don't believe the guest count impacts the deposit, but you should double-check. Just so you know, chairs are $37 each. 😊
I hate to be a pest, but could you let me know what exactly is covered in that $37 price tag? It’s right near my place, and honestly, I’ve been there for a few different events before—the food and service are always top-notch.
