No, they don't charge you separately. You just pay right here.
I figured I’d chime in too, since I actually went to Cher's for a wedding dress fitting, and honestly, it was such a letdown.
Everything I just read in the comment right above mine is spot on.!!!
The saleswoman was incredibly rude... she wouldn't let me touch anything, insisting she'd bring everything over herself.
She brings things out based on what she wants, not what I want, and the dresses they have ready to go? Not even close.
In fact, she only brought one single dress, and only after realizing she wasn't making a sale.
She kept going on about how they’re the best, that nobody has as many models as they do, that their materials are top-tier and all that nonsense.
But I can tell you the exact opposite.
The dresses were mediocre, messy, poor quality... some were even slightly torn. Honestly, it's an embarrassment for a shop that's so highly praised.
Since they used to charge for fittings $67, and now they've "lowered" it to $70, I at least expected some prestige and decent gowns.
The shop is a mess, dresses just piled on top of each other... my mom said it felt more like a flea market than some supposedly exclusive boutique.
Basically, a total disaster.
Not to mention she kept trying to push all these outdated styles on me... I didn't see anything from a recent collection; it looks like they're just holding onto old stock.
At the end, when she saw nothing was happening, she told me to "look around a bit longer," but then added there's no stock left in the store and basically implied I won't find a dress in California if I'm this picky. Just total rudeness to say something like that.
As if they're the only shop in town. She acted like I was being difficult, but they had nothing worth looking at, let alone buying.
My advice to any future brides: stay far away from this place!!!
You'll save your money and your sanity.

One guy, 185 people, plus some tiny little band...
Can that even work??
The capacity for a small venue is up to 200, but when I called, they told me 170 was the sweet spot. So I backed off since my headcount is higher than that...

I suspect that Shell might already have a trial period included in the price...
That’s actually great, because every place I've asked about charges full price just for a trial makeup application.
Michael Mendoza14 said:Anyone else got recommendations for photographers out in San Francisco? How far ahead should I be booking if I want one of those big-name ones?
Also, has anyone actually used Helen or Amada for makeup before?

Amadea goes way too heavy on the makeup. She did a bride's face once like she was heading to a gala in New York... I was just stunned when I saw the photo she showed me.
As for Helen, my hairstylist says her work is good, but you might not even recognize yourself once you see how much makeup you're wearing 😁
Any lighting recommendations? Looking for something decent that won't break the bank... 😉
Anyone have a lead on a decent accordion player who won't break the bank?
Just need someone to fill about an hour while the groom swings by to pick me up with his guy.
And please, anything except Marino or Anthony Bekavac. 😉
copperhound84 said:Have you checked out Michael's stuff yet? His prices start at $0.83 and go up from there. I don't know what style you're looking for, but he has tons of different designs and sizes, and he's really easy to work with if you need to negotiate.
Last time I checked, he was offering basic ones starting at just $1... nothing fancy.
coastalharbor6 said:Who should I hire as my wedding photographer? I’m really not looking for those cookie-cutter shots; I want something unique and truly special..🙂
By "standard," I mean those cliché poses where I'm staring at the bouquet, he's staring at the bouquet, and we're both just admiring the flowers together. 😂
The local studio I liked is already booked for my date.
I think Ranko Pupic is talented, but his vibe just doesn't quite mesh with mine, so I'd rather skip him if I can.. 🙂
I went with the photo by Michael, and honestly... I'm pretty happy with it.
Everything’s easy to work out with him. He's actually a great guy... really approachable...
casualwolf22 said:Honestly, just check Craigslist. You'll find tons of ads for invitations in that $0.40 range. Some people charge extra for the design work, others don't even bother. They usually just ship them via USPS.
Alright, thanks. I'll check it out...
Does anyone know where I can order invitations for maybe $0.30 to $0.50 each?
I heard there are people on Facebook who do them at that price point and offer super fast turnaround... if anyone's actually ordered from them, let me know.
If anyone has any photos or work from this makeup artist, please DM me.
Since she isn't on Facebook, I'd at least like to see some shots of her actual work... especially since I already had a bad experience with Anne Griffin.
Anyone got a lead on some decent catering that won't break the bank? Just looking for something okay... 😁
David King72 said:It’s pure magic, honestly; you’re guaranteed a good time, just make sure you hurry up and book them before they're totally slammed.
I can't send you a private message right now.
The Allure basic package is about $40,
Man, awesome. They’re basically the only ones left available on our date that won't completely break the bank, so we should probably put down a deposit ASAP.
I cleared out all my PMs, maybe that's why you couldn't reach me.
Emergency, can someone give me their take on this band?
Anyone got thoughts on the Best Buy, Bombardier, and Totem bands?
They’re all free right now, so I was wondering what you guys think of them...
Thanks.
Robin Scott5 said:Based on my experience, I’d highly recommend Sanja Krstulović. She works absolute magic.😍😍😍😍😍
Can I PM you?
Can anyone give me some info on this makeup artist? And if you have photos of her work, please send them my way via DM.
Thanks!!!
Jelena's Salon, Brnaz girls 👎
The staff there are completely unprofessional. They absolutely trashed the dress I was supposed to wear—I just needed some minor tapering and a few tiny adjustments, but they ruined it.
Basically, with the party happening the next day, I was left without a dress because of them... I don't think I've ever been under that much stress in my entire life.
I had no choice but to grab a different dress at the last minute. To make matters worse, they were incredibly rude about it and still charged me full price for the second one.
David King72 said:Honestly, it was hands down the worst venue, service, and food I've ever dealt with.
As for Phoenix? My options are getting pretty slim... mostly just places that actually fit my budget and aren't completely packed, so I'll have to make a call soon...
Ana Garcia👎
Would not recommend this at all...
