analogheron19 said:Listen, folks, we need to step up for one of our own. Anyone who can swing by tonight or tomorrow after 6 PM at the fan club over on Zvonimir—and if you can, please drop some cash to help out Marian Simic—would mean a lot. This guy was left disabled during an away game about 25 years ago, and honestly, he’s dealing with way more than most of us ever will. If you can't bring cash, non-perishables work too—think canned goods, oil, flour, rice, pasta, whatever is in your pantry.
For those who find it easier to just do a bank transfer, here's his info: HR 4624070003206203663. OTP Bank, Marian Simic, Main 131, Levantine Quarter.
Really appreciate everyone stepping up and showing some heart.

Is that account still active?

Does anyone actually get why Pinnacle doesn't offer basic 1X2 betting for some of those lower-tier soccer leagues—like the Venezuelan league or the Argentine second division? Instead, they just dump you with nothing but handicaps or over/under totals.

I'm thinking about finally opening an account over at 10bet, so if anyone here actually uses them, could you weigh in on this bit from the article? I want to know how much of this is actually true:

the biggest headache seems to be their messy payment system—apparently, they hit you with all these extra user fees

Finally heard back from them and my account is unblocked.
Apparently, they were getting some kind of error saying they couldn't deliver my emails—which is just great—so they went ahead and locked me out because of it.

URGENT NOTICE -- If we can't reach you via a valid email address, we’ll have to suspend your account until you provide one that works. Because your current email isn't reachable, your account has been temporarily disabled. To get everything back up and running, just reach out to our customer service Department AT support@fanduel.com for further assistance.

So, I got this message from DraftKings yesterday—total headache. I sent an inquiry over to the email they listed, but honestly? Crickets. Haven't heard a single word back.
I’m still getting their regular automated emails, so clearly my inbox isn't broken... does anyone actually know what's going on here? I can still log in to my account and see everything, but it won't let me make any deposits. Just stuck.

So, wait—do I actually need to maintain a specific balance in my PayPal account just to make a deposit? I think I totally misread the situation; I was under the impression they were basically just acting as a middleman handling the transaction between the sportsbook and my bank account.
Also, I saw that PayPal offers their own MASTERCARD, too... is that something I actually need to go out and get?

analogstag16 said:I need a little hand here. I'm trying to verify my card for Skrill. They just dinged me for about $1.30, but now they're asking me to tell them how much that was in USD? How am I supposed to convert that?

Well, I could use some help getting an account set up too.
I linked my Visa card and they took $1.89—that's basically all I have in there right now—so do I actually need to withdraw those funds or what do I do next to get everything fully up and running?
I tried hitting the "SEND" option, but it’s asking for an email address to send it to... does it really work like that, where you just send money via email? Is that the deal?
Look, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this modern digital money stuff and online payments, so bear with me.
I haven't even signed up for a sportsbook yet because I want to get this payment thing figured out first. From what I've gathered, BetOnline seems decent for beginners, and then there's DraftKings and Pinnacle—I mostly just like betting on a couple of soccer matches.

Hey everyone,
I was hoping you guys could help me out with a few things.

Since all winnings are being taxed here in the States starting next year, a buddy of mine mentioned that foreign online bookies might fly under the radar of the IRS.
I'm trying to figure out the best way to set up an account—specifically regarding deposits. Up until now, I’ve just been using my standard checking account, but I'm wondering which type of account is actually best for receiving payouts?
Also, does anyone know of a sportsbook with better odds on soccer draws? I need the ability to place bets on the 0-24 market. Do they tend to block those kinds of plays? I usually just put my money on a single draw.

At least, that's how they're spinning it. From where I'm sitting, it looks like they're just terrified that things might actually escalate into a full-blown little civil war.

There’s a lot to read between the lines here. This isn't just about one single club—you have to look at the bigger picture. We’re talking about a country that’s basically on its knees right now, teetering on the edge of a total meltdown. And honestly? You always know exactly where that first spark of resentment is going to fly from—that little flicker of discontent that eventually triggers a massive avalanche once people realize there’s absolutely no way out left. 😉

That's it! That’s exactly what I'm talking about!

Look, you guys can handle all your payments online—especially if you’re living out of state—and there are clear instructions right there on how everything gets shipped. It’s all super straightforward, plus they even mention you don't need to worry about sending photos.
It literally doesn't get any easier than that.

I haven't really been keeping up with everything going down this week, but if the whole thing actually blew up... man, that's a shame.
And I don't mean because of tomorrow's game—that's just sports. It’s a shame because of that positive energy everyone was feeling. I honestly thought that vibe would carry over into the rest of the country, you know? Like maybe we could finally move past just obsessing over football for five minutes...
But hey, fans used to be the ones driving real change in this country... or maybe I'm just getting old and that part of us is gone.

rustyjackal45 said:Since we're bringing up the Los Angeles Lakers—I think that's probably the only video out there from that game against PAOK in the small arena during the DS era. Maybe someone here was actually there? If so, please, enlighten us. Give us the lowdown.

Honestly, this is the first time I've ever laid eyes on footage from that matchup.
I was just a kid back then, but I vividly remember the atmosphere in that gym—it was intense. In my opinion, those smaller arenas were built specifically for basketball. Back in the day, you could actually follow the Lakers through their European runs. I can't quite recall if that specific game was the first time things got heated with the Greeks, though. I have these blurry memories of people storming across the court toward their section after the whistle blew.
I think right after that game wrapped up, everyone just shifted over to the Ice for the handball qualifiers—it was America-Belarus, if I'm remembering correctly.
