Could be dehydration too... back when I was like 17, I had a massive heatstroke and ended up stuck in the hospital for 9 days. 😁 I was dizzy, blacking out, had burns, was puking, and the weirdest part—my whole face swelled up. Like my cheeks and chin were totally puffy; they actually thought I’d been bitten by something at first. It all hit me the day after I spent all day playing beach volleyball under the sun. I remember them checking my calcium levels and giving me an injection for it (which was brutal), so maybe check that? And yeah, even though it was like 90 degrees out, I had the chills, and even two Tylenols didn't touch it. 🙂 They didn't even bother with a head scan for me, just some other tests 🙂
So, I’m jumping into this lovely little circle of women/girls... dilemma time... okay, my last period was December 17th. Since my cycle usually runs about 28-29 days, I should be due around January 14th or 15th! We've been going hard at it, tracking fertile days and all that jazz, but there's a catch. My breasts have been sore and heavy since ovulation—nipples are super sensitive, plus some itching and my stomach has been cramping like I'm about to start any second. And that's not even the half of it. Yesterday morning, I noticed this weird, brownish-red discharge, and it hasn't stopped... nothing on my underwear, just shows up on the toilet paper after I pee (which I've been doing a lot lately). I know it's early, and I took a test yesterday, but it was negative. Called my OBGYN and she basically told me to just wait until my period is actually due. I had this exact same discharge during my first pregnancy, but that was in the second month once I already knew I was pregnant (and had the labs to prove it) while taking Dabroston. I'm a bit anxious because I had a cone biopsy for CIN III/CIS five years ago, though I did get a full checkup and cleared everything with my doctor before we started trying. Has anyone else dealt with this—that light spotting/discharge right before you find out you're pregnant?
