Would it be better to go with the $150 Vtx3d HD4670 512MB or the $170 Vtx3d HD4670 1GB? I guess you might see some difference between them, right?
Maybe I should look at something else entirely, since my processor is pretty weak—just a Pentium 4 3GHz. I can't quite decide if I should grab a weaker card now ($67) and upgrade later, though that feels like throwing money away, maybe up to $167 max.

I honestly can't find any reviews for the 1GB version anywhere...
My monitor resolution is 1680x1050 on a 22'' screen.
I have an AOpen 400W power supply—just picked it up a few days ago. I hope it's decent! I think I read somewhere that it's basically the same as a Fortron, like they're made by the same company, but I can't quite remember where.
I'm also wondering how loud these cards get and what the actual difference is between brands like Sapphire, Gigabyte, or Vtx (or whatever else is out there).

This part actually worried me a bit, just as I thought I found a good deal! Could someone explain this or confirm if it's true? Is it because it runs on a 128-bit bus?

Edit: Since I'm asking anyway, what would be the GeForce equivalent for this?

I guess this might actually be a pretty solid choice 🙂

I guess you can find the Logitech G502 here in the States, but I don't see it anywhere else, so it's probably not available locally.

I was thinking that maybe Logitech is just overpriced and you’re mostly paying for the brand name...

I don't know about everyone else since I've only ever used Logitech mice, but did you actually use one of those other ones or are you just saying Logitech is the best?

Any local shop in Chicago:

Razer DeathAdder
I just mentioned it, but I probably won't grab one since my brother just picked one up. I was looking at it earlier though—supposedly it has great performance and you can overclock it to 1000Hz, although maybe it runs best at 500 Hz.

RAZER Diamondback 3G

SHARKOON FireGlider

Genius Ergo 555

TRUST Gamer GM-4800

I found these options! If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts on which one is the best value, let me know. Honestly, it’s kind of exhausting how everyone just talks about Logitech like they're the only brand out there. I read online and, of course, everyone just mentions them because they're everywhere. It would be awesome to try all these mice out, but I guess that's just not realistic for most people.

Edit: I know there's already a thread with this title, so if it bothers the mods, feel free to merge them! I just really wanted to include a poll.🙂

Anyone there?

Come on guys, just a little help! I think I only have about 8 days left before my deadline to file an appeal hits!

Hey, since nobody seems to be answering the question above, I guess maybe someone could send me a template for what a formal complaint should actually look like?

I basically got pulled over on the I-95 for doing 75!!! Like, right at the entrance to the city where you merge onto the highway, and I swear there is no way I was hitting 75, but whatever,

The officer gave me a ticket that says 65 because of that 10% buffer rule, and it claims he clocked my speed, but he totally didn't. I guess they just slapped me with the same fine as someone actually doing 75... what can I even do about this? Can I contest it or something?

What if I just don't pay? I don't have a job right now and I'm just a student, so I really can't afford this, it's $167not a joke!

Maybe you should grab a Saitek Force Feedback joystick instead? I've been using mine for three years now and it’s honestly great! It’s definitely more expensive than the ones you listed, but I think it's worth it and would totally recommend it to you!

Frost, for sure!

I mean, I try to support free open-source stuff whenever I get the chance.

I'm not really using it right now since I just download everything via BitTorrent, but I definitely used to back in the day.

Napster is basically just an open-source version of Napster—it's got more features than the standard Napster, and I guess NapsterPro is pretty much the same as Napster.

The folks behind Napster are actually still part of the Napster open-source community, but they didn't really vibe with some of the directions people wanted to take. So, they took the same code and turned it into this totally free program that's almost identical, though it'll never have a Pro version or a basic one. There’s just the one Napster that has everything built in.

So, I guess it's up to you which one you'll 🙄
