Any local shop in Chicago:

Razer DeathAdder
I just mentioned it, but I probably won't grab one since my brother just picked one up. I was looking at it earlier though—supposedly it has great performance and you can overclock it to 1000Hz, although maybe it runs best at 500 Hz.

RAZER Diamondback 3G

SHARKOON FireGlider

Genius Ergo 555

TRUST Gamer GM-4800

I found these options! If anyone has any suggestions or thoughts on which one is the best value, let me know. Honestly, it’s kind of exhausting how everyone just talks about Logitech like they're the only brand out there. I read online and, of course, everyone just mentions them because they're everywhere. It would be awesome to try all these mice out, but I guess that's just not realistic for most people.

Edit: I know there's already a thread with this title, so if it bothers the mods, feel free to merge them! I just really wanted to include a poll.🙂

It would be ideal to test all these mice in person, but for the average user, that's just not realistic...

Ever considered there might actually be a reason why everyone uses Logitech? ☕

I was thinking that maybe Logitech is just overpriced and you’re mostly paying for the brand name...

I don't know about everyone else since I've only ever used Logitech mice, but did you actually use one of those other ones or are you just saying Logitech is the best?

Razer Naga

Maybe

the XL-740K

I guess you can find the Logitech G502 here in the States, but I don't see it anywhere else, so it's probably not available locally.

Not sure about everyone else since I've only ever used Logitech. Did you actually own one of those other brands, or are you just saying Logitech is the top tier?

Where did I say Logitech was the absolute best? (Even though I have three of them at home). It's just that people recognize the quality of their gear, so they stick with it...

If you pick up a Razer, you probably won't regret it. It really just comes down to design and ergonomics... Personally, Razer mice don't feel right in my hand, so I pass. Meanwhile, some people swear by the Razer DeathAdder because it fits them perfectly...

I've been rocking a Diamondback Razer for ages now, and honestly, it's my absolute go-to. I'm guessing the newer models are probably even better than this one, though. (I picked this up back in the day specifically for grinding out some SC: Broodwar 😁)

So yeah, just my two cents on the matter. Razer

I believe the Diamondback 3G is priced at over $117, so if we are going to be picky about costs, one might as well opt for the DeathAdder. I placed my order yesterday; we shall see if it actually lives up to the hype 😁

I guess this might actually be a pretty solid choice 🙂
