I haven't actually sat down to watch the movie yet, mostly because my faith in the MCU has been wavering lately, but seeing that shot of the Celestials has left me feeling quite conflicted. It’s a bit unsettling, honestly; ever since I first read about them in the comics, I’ve been waiting for a proper cinematic introduction, and this sudden shift in their visual design feels off. They seem to be depicted differently in every single Marvel project, and even in Eternals, we got our most significant look at them, yet they bear almost no resemblance to how they appear in Thor.
Honestly, I felt like decapitating myself after watching this. I truly have no idea what I just witnessed; the plot escaped me entirely, and I feel like I completely wasted my Sunday night. To be blunt, I can't recall ever sitting through a more nonsensical film. Talking heads, axes manifesting out of thin air, people made of stone, and then there's that moment where a guy opens his front door only to find a bear holding a lantern... WTF.
I am looking for some expert advice. I am planning to pick up an Xbox Series X once it drops, but my current setup is just a basic FHD LED TV. I had considered upgrading to a 4K TV, but even the smallest ones available here start at 43 inches, which simply won't fit on my desk because of a built-in cabinet; I intend to use the screen as a monitor since my laptop will be hooked up to it. I did track down a 32" Apple television elsewhere, but it isn't stocked locally—only available through eBay or Amazon. Since I have never actually used a dedicated monitor for gaming before, I am wondering if there is a high-quality gaming monitor out there capable of delivering a great 4K experience.
