Traffic violation procedures in Criminal and Misdemeanor Law ·
It’s been two years now—two full years—since I received that court order regarding a fine I failed to pay. Because I didn't settle it, the whole thing spiraled; it turned into jail time and an order to suspend my driver's license for six months. However—and this is the part where things get a bit messy—since my license had already expired by the time they caught up with me, they couldn't actually record the suspension in the system. So, I guess the question is... now that the statute of limitations has passed, if I go ahead and get my medical exam done, can I just apply for a brand new license without having to serve that six-month ban? I really hope I explained myself clearly enough here—the original violation was a DUI.

Sophia Hill22 said:Which doctor did you see? How many days were you actually admitted? And honestly, how was everything—the accommodations, the nursing staff?

Well, I had surgery performed by Dr. Williams—and look, the accommodations were actually quite decent. The nurses? Truly top-tier professionals, which, I have to admit, caught me off guard given how the facility looks from the outside. It’s easily two levels above places like Mount Sinai or those clinics over in Brooklyn... I ended up staying for five days since I went in for rhinoplasty. If anyone happens to know if Williams is still practicing there, please, drop a note on the forum—I'm not local to NYC.☕

I see everyone throwing around big names like Smith or Johnson... honestly, I don't care much for the celebrity talk. About five years ago, I had surgery at the Mayo Clinic in NYC—it was a hell of an experience—and they did a fantastic job. It was all covered by my insurance, too, which was a relief, especially since I’d broken that same rib three or four times before—total internal wreckage, if you want to call it that.
But, well, what can you do? I went and broke it again. It's a shame, really. Back when I was recovering at the Mayo Clinic, I actually had to kick the booze, the cigarettes, even some light drugs... things got pretty dark for a minute there.👍 ha ha ha ha
