No. At that point, ris was properly registered under his primary handle. He simply wasn't permitted in Politics—which explains why certain other moderators were so pleased, given he frequented their subforums more often instead. 😁 ) Nickname changes occurred long after my tenure.😁

When I first joined Politika, I wasn't insulting anyone. Then the Soylent crew started coming at me with insults and swearing left and right—all of which you conveniently failed to sanction. That’s when I fought back, got banned, and they walked away scot-free.

And I have never once whined about a ban, but this double standard is infuriating. When the liberals insult people, it’s considered "humorous," but when I respond in kind, suddenly it's unacceptable.

Besides, you hit me with a near-permanent ban. You didn't unban me; I just registered again, and after months of silence, you dismissively told me you wouldn't ban this account either.

But frankly, I couldn't care less.

You might recall that temporary bans didn't exist in my era. As far as I remember, aside from glas razum, neither you (nor Slack on Science) were permitted to post again under any handle after a ban—it wasn't just a suspension, it was more like a 😁.

We could argue for years about which of us is actually in the right. 😁 😁

Just for the record: I did not "dismissively" allow you to post again. I never make decisions based on whims. No matter how trivial or virtual this may seem, my decisions are made of my own volition.
Similarly, I didn't permit ris to post on Politika—even though, privately, I always found him quite likable.

If urbandriver20 were truly a coward who flipped with every changing wind, he would still be an admin (and a moderator on Politics). Which, by extension, means that you (and Rick) wouldn't even be allowed to post on Politics to this day. 😁
