I applied some thermal paste to both the CPU and that other component next to it—it was probably the GPU, I can't quite recall. Anyway, I just held my vacuum cleaner hose right up against the exhaust vent to watch the temps, and within seconds, the temperature dropped by 20 degrees 😲. A high-quality fan would definitely do wonders for those kinds of setups...

Just to add to that, I really don't have the patience to be tearing the whole thing apart every couple of months. I definitely need to find a better way to handle this...

So, here’s the situation: when I’m just browsing the web, my CPU temperature sits right around 58-60°C. But the second I jump into anything graphically intensive, the processor spikes to about 70-75°C, and my motherboard climbs toward nearly 90°C! I have a feeling those numbers are getting a bit too high, even if the laptop hasn't actually shut itself down yet. The fan is definitely spinning, but it feels like it's just not cutting it...
Basically, should I be looking for ways to bring these temps down, and does anyone have any tried-and-true methods for a 17-inch laptop?
