The collector itch is real in Hobbies & Leisure ·
I don't know how people justify spending thousands on cardboard, but I still find myself checking auction sites every single night. There's just something about the hunt that gets addictive. Anyone else currently struggling with a "just one more" mentality?

Here it is... so what am I supposed to think about Weider now? 🤷... everyone here is trashing them, yet this guy claims they're the best... 🤔

If you actually believe it's garbage, then have the decency to explain why.

He didn't actually say I use it as my Whey Protein. He suggested it would be better before bed or during the day, but if I specifically want something for post-workout...

Hahaha 😁

Yeah... I know... I've been obsessed with MuscleTech Nitro-Tech for a while now... but what can I say? It was love at first sight. 😉

Alright, seriously though... jokes aside... let me explain why I stick with MuscleTech.
A friend of a friend used to be a professional bodybuilder (he's an older guy now, mid-40s).
He told him that MuscleTech is the premier brand for protein and recommended that MuscleTech Nitro-Tech I mentioned a few pages back as a starting point. His logic was that pure Whey isn't quite right for beginners yet—at least, that's his take.
Now, seeing everyone here claim there are much better brands than MuscleTech, I'm left wondering who actually knows what they're talking about... the pro bodybuilder or all of you. 😁

Like what, for instance? 😁
(I honestly don't have the energy to hunt down every single manufacturer's ingredient list online, and I'm not even aware of all the brands on the market, so if you wouldn't mind, please list a few that you consider superior.) 🙂

Which of these two wheys should I pick for my Whey Protein, and why?

Premium Whey
(High biological value whey protein. Whey protein isolate. Microfiltered whey protein concentrate. Contains natural bioactive nutrients such as globulins and glycomacropeptides. Enriched with L-glutamine. Aspartame free.)

vs.

CFM Whey
(100% bioactive whey protein isolate with the highest biological value! Prepared using a specialized CFM technology process (Cross-Flow Microfiltration). CFM Whey protein contains very low carbohydrates, making it a high-value protein source.)

Help me out 😁 😁

Is anyone heading to the Body art gym in Washington, D.C.?

Fair enough...
That’s exactly how I plan to handle it...

Thanks 👍

Sure... I read a few pages on this before you started hyping up PWM in a shaker bottle right before hitting the gym. If you carry it around with you, that foam is going to settle and die right when you finish your set. Is it really okay to let it sit for an hour? I’m pretty sure it needs to be consumed immediately... isn't that right?

You’ve already been given the answer here -

Pay attention: that entire post is the answer to your specific situation.
Read it from the first line to the last. Don't just cherry-pick the part about Weider or whey or protein in general.

Alright, alright... don't get upset. 😉

You think you're being funny, don't you?

No... I already asked you what you thought about... This is it. You previously mentioned that this wasn't exactly ideal for Protein Weight Management. Now I’m asking for your take on... This is it.. 🙂

Thanks a lot for the help!

briskjackal5 said:A few things—stick to a pure Whey protein for your post-workout shake. Avoid those multi-component blends. The reason is simple: Whey digests the fastest.

Can you give me specific recommendations? Tell me exactly which Whey you consider the best and what you personally use. Also, let me know which Glucose I should get and where to pick it up.

I need some assistance and a few solid recommendations...
I'm 17 years old (156 lbs, 6'1") and just started hitting the gym. I've been at it for two weeks. I did some research on proteins and picked up some Weider "Protein 80 Plus" http://www.building-body.com/shop/pr...0_plus_-_doza/. The recommendation was to use this immediately following training.

Now... I've been reading through the forum, and from what I can gather, everyone seems to be taking glucose along with their protein...

First, I want to know if I should also be consuming glucose alongside the product I purchased ( http://www.building-body.com/shop/pr...0_plus_-_doza/ ), or if there is perhaps something else I should be using instead...

Second... How many grams of protein should I take post-workout, how much milk should I use, and how many grams of glucose are required (if glucose is even necessary).

Third... I train about five times a week. Can I take protein on my rest days? If so, when should I take it and in what quantity.

And fourth... Is this product I bought actually any good, or would you recommend something else?
