I used to think chasing a dream was the only way to find fulfillment, but after a few years in the grind, I'm starting to think financial stability is actually the ultimate freedom. Is it even possible to be truly happy in a career if you're constantly checking your bank balance?

Just stumbled upon this track recently. It's actually pretty good.

The Beatles – Revolver

I could probably make some cheesy joke about dangerous "crimes" by swapping out letters, but I'm feeling too lazy for that... All that matters is how much this track pumps you up. And that ending? Man...

unnamed

This upcoming unnamed album should be pretty interesting.

Jerry Cantrell – Atone

Zlatan Ibrahimović has that golden voice.

Opeth – Reverie / Harlequin Forest

Deep in the woods... drifting further from the meadows and so far away from home...

King's X – Dogman

Some killer riffs here. Even the vocals hold their own. 👍

Talk Talk – Ascension Day

This is the same group behind "It's my Life" and "Life's What you make IT". Honestly, Mark Hollis was such a versatile, talented musician.

Thorns – Underneath The Universe I

It’s a pretty simple instrumental track, but honestly, it still hits hard.

talk talk – i believe in you this

Honestly, this is one of the most beautiful tracks I've come across lately.

David Gilmour – There's No Way Out of Here

I was listening to a Waters's track a little while ago, so I figured it was time to balance things out with some Gilmour. 😎

(It's actually a cover of a more obscure track, though... 😁)

Agalloch – The Lodge

I'm thinking back to the tracks that first got me hooked on this band. Haven't listened in ages, which is a real shame—they’ve got some incredible stuff.

NP: The Beatles – Taxman.

I've been digging through some deeper cuts from The Beatles lately, and man, "Taxman" is such a killer track. It’s so damn catchy that I've had it on repeat for weeks now.

Meshuggah – The Abysmal Eye

New Meshuggah is on the way! 🙂 It sounds incredible so far. I'm really curious to see what kind of madness they pack into this album.

It’s this cardboard packaging that unfolds. You open it up in several pieces, and spread across all of them is this incredibly detailed breakdown of the marketing and promo costs for the album. It's such a long list that if any accountant picks this up, they might actually get a little practice in with their bookkeeping. 👍

Well Holy shit, I didn't expect to see people listening to Aphex Twin around here. 👍

I really dig the cover from Maidenov's The Final Frontier:
