So, a new Microsoft OS has finally dropped! It’s called Windows 7, basically acting as an extension of Vista. From what I'm hearing buzzing around the web, it might just be Vista with a few extra bells and whistles. Maybe Microsoft is hoping this rebranding helps salvage their latest project—which some people claim is already a total wash. Personally, I don't buy that, but hey, whatever. What do you guys think this will actually turn out to be? Are we looking at a massive leap forward from Windows XP, or just more of the same? What are your expectations?.....

I’ve got a real issue here. I'm running Norton, and it normally updates every few hours—sometimes even more frequent than that—but lately, it keeps flagging certain infected files. The catch? When it pops up with the options, the only thing it gives me is "LEAVE!" It used to always show a "delete" option, and honestly, I could always just wipe those files manually without any trouble. So why is Norton being so useless now? Why won't it just do its job?

Windows Vista Service Pack 1 doesn't freeze up on me at all! I'm running SP1 right now and it works perfectly (zero issues)! I honestly can't wait for the full version to drop. Windows Vista is just the absolute best!

People just criticize it way too much; I guess the problem lies with them, not with Vista itself. You just have to be decisive and handle things properly, then everything works fine. In my opinion, Windows XP just doesn't look nearly as good as Vista does. I'm running Service Pack 1, and it isn't even 2% faster—if anything, it feels significantly quicker. XP just seems so bland compared to Vista. Besides, Windows XP is basically ancient history at this point. We should be looking forward. What do you see in the future? Obviously, Vista! Just tweak your drivers a bit and there you go: the ultimate experience!
