That’s actually pretty interesting. It explains why I think my head looks absolutely perfect when I’m staring at myself in the bathroom mirror, yet somehow turns into a total potato the second I see a photo of myself. Honestly, it’s just bad cameras and terrible photographers. 😁
steelorca5 said:Could you dive a bit deeper into that? Like, what specifically in his post points toward him having mommy issues?

Honestly, what even is "mommy issues" anyway? It’s such a vague term—everyone basically just makes up their own definition on the fly. It's nothing like "daddy issues," where there's actually a pretty clear, shared understanding of what people are talking about.

The way he talks about wanting to be with countless women but failing to pull anyone off because he's too insecure is a classic sign of being raised by a controlling, overbearing mother. At least, if you ask me.
wanderingheron9 said:Exactly. He isn't imposing one bit. If anything, he’s just wiry and thin.
beauty always favors harmony and symmetry over size of any kind.

Look, his build might work, but his face is totally disconnected from his body—it’s just way too asymmetrical for me. 😁 Honestly, maybe he’s unhinged because he spent his school years getting shoved into lockers for being a total airhead.
That massive volcano erupting on his face definitely wasn't doing his vibe any favors either. 🤣
Honestly, I think it just comes down to personal preference. I’ve never really subscribed to that whole "bigger is always better" philosophy, you know? There’s a massive difference between having a solid, aesthetic build and just being freakishly huge for no reason. 😁
wanderingheron9 said:"Chiseled" might be a better way to put it.

Calling him "chiseled" implies there's some actual aesthetic appeal there, but let's be real—his features are just straight-up grotesque, like something out of a weird caricature. 😁

Look, even a potato can look somewhat symmetrical if you squint hard enough. 😁 My point wasn't really about the actual geometry of his face, but more about that uneven, lumpy texture you get with a sack of Russets.
Major mommy issues here. 😁
wanderingheron9 said:Nah, I don't buy it. Calling someone a "potato" usually implies they've got one of those totally blank, doughy faces and zero jawline to speak of. This guy is basically the antithesis of that.

I don't know, man, based on how I see it, being a potato is all about having that uneven, lumpy look, and let's be real—he's lumpy as hell.
Man, his face is shaped like a literal Russet potato, I can't even.

Look, we're just trying to be useful and actually give some thought to this. 😁

🤣
He gets to level up his game while we get the satisfaction of roasting him at the same time, so honestly, it’s a total win-win.
Jesse Howard43 said:lmao, what the hell is this even supposed to be?

Stick to English or just get out, honestly, thanks to colonialism and all that nonsense.
Paul Evans said:So, I guess you aren't really measuring anyone's IQ just because they decide to put effort into posting in English after being told to, right? 😁

Look, I don't really give a damn about getting dragged into their petty little arguments, so I'm not out here trying to psychoanalyze what they're actually thinking, plus I haven't been in this scene long enough to map out all the drama between different people and cliques. 😁

This weather is absolutely wrecking me, my head is pounding 🙂

That sucks, but I feel you—there are plenty of mainstream foods that I can't stand either. 😁

Oh yeah, being sensitive to the weather is a double-edged sword for sure. Being able to sense a shift can be cool, but when you feel it way too intensely, it just ends up being painful. 😳
Since we’re all just sitting here flexing, let’s pivot to something a bit more delicious and take a moment to admire my absolute triumph in trying to whip up some custard donuts.

I guess you could call it beginner's luck, though I'm not taking any credit for it. 😁
Paul Evans said:Look, man, I don't know what kind of alternate reality you’re living in, but down here on Earth, intelligence isn't some abstract concept—it's actually measurable, and we've been testing it for a hell of a long time. 😬

Look, we aren't even talking about the same kind of metric here. Intelligence isn't some fixed thing you can just pin down; it’s wildly subjective because it shifts depending on the context and all the different variables thrown at you. The value of an intelligence quotient is not in The same ballpark as a second, a gram, or a meter. Those are standardized units anchored to the bedrock of physical laws, whereas IQ is just a rough, relative approximation at best.

Paul Evans said:Look, nobody in this group actually thinks Dubu is thick. I mean, maybe if you just met him years ago, you might’ve pegged him as one of those meathead stereotypes, but we’ve all spent enough time around each other by now to see past that. I’m positive he isn't on anyone's list of idiots. 😁

It’s like, maybe they aren't outright calling him an idiot, but they’re still talking down to him like his intentions are shady or his skills are subpar. Honestly, what's the difference? At the end of the day, you're still left with that same bitter taste in your mouth because everything feels just as unfair.
Emily Cook8 said:I'm with you on that. It's just my two cents, though.
At the end of the day, people should be able to say whatever they want.
The thing is, how someone chooses to vent actually tells you everything you need to know about who they really are.

Don't bother judging someone based on their good qualities, because anyone can put on a mask and act like a saint when they feel like it. If you want to see what's actually under the hood, look at their flaws and their darker side—that's where the real person lives. We all have our baggage because, let's face it, nobody's life is some flawless Hollywood movie. Most people just work overtime to bury that stuff deep down. > common way to loosen things up, mostly because it has a knack for dragging all those hidden vices right to the surface. 😁

Emily Cook8 said:If you ask me, anyone who’s actually spent their life dealing with nothing but constant disrespect and being looked down on should be the first ones stepping up to show they're better than that. If you've truly been through the wringer, you should be proving your superiority by actually being decent and treating people with some damn respect.
Let’s be real, nobody actually walks around with a flawless existence. Life isn't some curated Instagram feed where everything is sunshine and rainbows; it's messy, unpredictable, and honestly pretty chaotic most of the time. Everyone you meet is carrying around some kind of baggage or dealing with a situation that would make you want to pull your hair out. Whether it's struggling to pay rent in Chicago or just dealing with personal drama, nobody has it all figured out. Perfection is basically a myth we tell ourselves to feel better about the chaos.

I'm with you on that. You've gotta set an example to influence others.

Using "should" to judge how other people express themselves is honestly such a selfish way to look at things.

Paul Evans said:I don't think you're quite getting it—it’s not like he actually believes his vocabulary makes him a genius. In his own head, he thinks his English is just slightly above average, but he’s convinced that nobody else on this forum can touch his level, simply because nobody showed up to his thread to shut him down. It's a total ego trip, and honestly, suggesting that our lack of participation somehow proves we're all less intelligent is just ridiculous.

Look, at the end of the day, I just don't see how that logic holds up; it feels pretty shaky to me. 😁

The real issue here isn't even that he’s out there grinding to prove he’s the smartest guy in the room; the actual problem is that everyone else is constantly jumping in to tell him he's not. It’s basically a toxic cycle where both sides just keep feeding into each other's bullshit. See, the tricky part about intelligence is that, unlike something physical like how fast you can sprint, how far you can swim, or how much you can bench at the gym, you can't just look at someone and see it instantly. How much weight someone actually carries with their brain is entirely based on whether people like them or not, which makes it way too easy for everyone to just start mocking or looking down on them.
