I don't know why—but for me, their MTV Unplugged remains the absolute worst. Everything else they've done just sounds better.

Steven Newman50 said:Degrees of Freedom

Cool—and even more live. 😁 (Based on the footage)

Jerry Robinson56 said:And in the end, they steer the wheels.

Haha, exactly. Law of the land. 😁

Jerry Robinson56 said:🙂 Until they actually figured out how to build a melody through rhythm—on Stratosfear, I only genuinely enjoyed those last three minutes at the very beginning.

Rhythm beats melody—every single time. 😳

We still don't have any saffron here in the States. For instance, just a quick exchange ...

Jamie Davis9 said:The "system," huh? I have to admit—I tend to approach this whole issue quite chaotically. 🙂😁
Anyway, this thread is great. I'm actually enjoying it. Getting to know people through music—it's easy and it works. Yeah...

n.b.: anarchist

Chaotic😁—me too. 😁

Jason Mendoza said:And then there are those albums inspired by a book, a movie, or some historical event—once you start digging into those, there’s no end to it.

Give me a break.

Inspired by movies and history? 😁

A pioneer! I thought this was brilliant when I saw it—😁(hard to even imagine what people were feeling back then)

How could you not? There it is.

wiredmason61 said:Idiots.! 😍 Killer gig last night—turned out to be a massive payday. 🙂

Spot on.

Ashley Grant66 said:New. Sebastian 😲

The spot is pretty mediocre—but you can't deny the song is actually good. It’s got something. Something.I can't even enjoy this. What a waste.

Hmm, she's terrifying. 😁 I just can't wrap my head around this sound.

Nothing to add. The classics.

Wow. 😁 Rothery seems like a decent enough guy.
That guy with the mustache reminds me of him. 🤣

Silence.

I haven't heard this version before—it's actually pretty great.

granitecyclist said:This is even better—I haven't heard anything quite like it in a long time. Inspired rework..

Some things just don't click until years later—it’s a strange realization. But honestly? It's pretty great.

granitecyclist said:Let’s be real—someone needs to call out the absolute nonsense that was Athanor psych back in the seventies. Seriously? How did anyone take that garbage seriously?

granitecyclist said:Gomorrah

You’re really pulling their strings now. 😁

Jason Mendoza said:Godflesh.

A programming deity? :D

Jamie Davis9 said:Badabing. The Sopranos is what landed me here. 😁

It flew by—and honestly, the rest will too. Just yesterday I was thinking how Feb 6th was still a week away😕

They're great.

granitecyclist said:Teresa is absolutely phenomenal.☕

This is a total joke. Teresa sounds absolutely unhinged—like she’s lost her mind.

Jamie Davis9 said:Now that—that would be a song. 😁

Oh, really? :D

cosmiccobra2 said:Way too long. Women. They're playing in the background. 😉

They're incredible.

Henry Mitchell29 said:So... you've got a Vive VR headset—ideally one of the latest models—and you can actually see how the entire landscape of music (and art, really) might transform over the next decade. 🎉

In my view—and I’ll be blunt here—app developers who choose to lock themselves exclusively into the Apple Store are nothing short of fascists. 😁
And for us Android users—nothing. Absolutely nothing. 😁
Given that Belew is basically the king of prog
— and let’s face it—prog musicians, by their very nature, often lean toward being fascists.
It all fits together into one (insane) puzzle... pure horror... 😁

Interesting.

But honestly, when you consider how separate those development paths were😁 it's entirely possible making it for iOS was just easier back then.

wiredmason61 said:hell yeah, finally a concert I'm actually looking forward to. 🎉

Ah, so they're hitting Chicago.

Yeah. Personally, I just can't stomach that vocal. 😁 I lean closer to that guy from Laibach—though I know he’s mostly just messing around. 🤣

Henry Mitchell29 said:Yeah... that’s me—scared of my own shadow. 😁

I'm thinking about dropping 😁 $X into an app on Android from Enot... 😁 Bloom 10 worlds.
But I just can't pull the trigger—I'm not exactly rolling in cash to throw $10 at some Enotes... :D
So I'm waiting until Jean-Michel Jarre moves his EoN over to Android! 😒
Once that happens, I'm buying it—no question. No such thing as being broke when you have a plan. What needs to be done isn't hard. 🙂

And since I'm a total geek, I'd love to check out the new Bjork u VR album in a virtual environment. On some new Vive...

What exactly is this? 😁

I've been really interested in Flux by Belew, but I've never owned an iPhone, so I haven't tried it. :D

I used to love an app called Oscilab—it was similar stuff—but it vanished from the Google Play Store. 🙂
Then I stumbled upon Sun Vox. 👍

When I'm hanging out with kids or relatives, I'll fire up Nodebeat—it's a clever concept with a cool output. 😁

For instance, I'm currently finishing up my second planet. :D
