Contour lines expose the fools
Brains dried up
Blank stares
And tangled tongues
Cowards circle the water
Their curses fly
Let them suffer
It’s just their way
Take a clean river
And a healthy forest
Drive out this trash
Because what's worth having—is already gone
Watch your manners
Those folks up in the penthouses are watching us
Just stay in line
That’s the doctrine handed down from the ivory towers
Eat, sleep, lie down
Work, shut up, bark
The system says we’re all identical
But we sure as hell aren't
So—who’s actually whipping us if not ourselves?
Who’s stepping on us if not by our own permission?
It’s us
We’re the ones building the very rules that kill us
So isn't it about time
To start living on your own terms?
Isn't it simpler than this--
Stop screaming "let me live how I want" and just do it
The People
The same mother
And father
And home
The house is falling apart
Father is gone
Mother is sick
Where the hell is the people?
Don't ask
Breathe
Don't hesitate
Watch
Stop overthinking
Listen
Move
And it'll happen
People have all sorts of ways of greeting each other across the globe.
Personally, I’ve always respected how they handle it in Japan.
A bow—without any unnecessary touching.
I remember back in the day, before everything changed, people used to greet each other with multiple kisses on the cheek—sometimes three, sometimes two, or just one if you were feeling modern.
Then we moved into the whole hugging and handshaking phase—the classic American standard.
But honestly, it’s good that we grew up and moved past the cheek-kissing stage.
A solid hug or a quick shoulder-to-shoulder squeeze shows plenty of closeness.
That’s more than enough.
How do you guys usually greet people?
Queen of the White Plague
Owner of all our misery
A slap to the motherland
Wretch of the cross
The little beast is dead
The widow gave a sneeze
The praying mantis stands alone
And she won't be sucking our blood anymore
Parasite
Pest
Entitled
Snob
Get a clue
Total joke
Shut up
And think about your choices
Fool
Moron
Coward
Liar
That’s us
We aren't looking for more
Just wallowing in our own misery
And paying a tenth of what it costs just to show up
Why are you even asking?
Figure it out yourself.
Follow the road signs.
Just hit the highway and go.
Get out there and see.
You’ll get it when you see it.
Realize things through experience.
The drive matters more than the destination.
Not feeling it
Not feeling it?
Not really
No, what’s the point
What isn't
If it isn't
Old dog
Or maybe just a burnout
Follow me for a decade
Who’s actually playing which part?
It’s not like I’m stealing anyone else's lines
I've got my own rhythm
Just wondering if the old dog beats the burnout first
I went looking for a fight
All I got was a single letter
I wanted to make my mark on this world
But hey, I'll take whatever life throws my way
