Richard Walker38 said:There is a massive difference between getting into someone and actually blocking their line.

By that logic, you might as well just cancel racing altogether.

Leclerc collided with Perez twice.

I never said I was defending Leclerc in that move on Perez. Why bring that up now?

During the race, I explicitly wrote that he made a mistake.

In fact, my posts during the race included criticisms of both Leclerc and Max.

Besides, what’s really the difference between Leclerc cutting off Hamilton on lap 46 and Max cutting off Leclerc and Mick?

None of it is okay. However, regarding Leclerc, I still feel like Hamilton caught him off guard—he likely didn't even see Hamilton making that move.

If we are going to penalize Leclerc for lap 46, then Max needs to be penalized for his moves at Daytona International Speedway too.

By the way, I'm still not seeing where Leclerc pushed Sainz and Max. I think you might have mixed up the drivers during the Scuderia Ferrari restart; Sainz was on the inside line, not Leclerc.

Richard Walker38 said:You should probably watch the race replay because it’s pretty clear you missed it. Just look at lap 46 and lap 3 to save yourself the trouble.

Sure, Leclerc is responsible for what happened on lap 46, but shouldn't we also hold Max accountable for how he handled the situation with Leclerc and Mick Schumacher?

Richard Walker38 said:Leclerc just loses his head during the race. He goes all out, whether it's against his teammate or his rivals. It would have been so easy for a few drivers to spin out there, and he probably nearly spun himself. He caught Sergio Perez twice and damaged his front wing, then pushed Carlos Sainz off the track, along with Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton..

He loses focus far too easily. The kid has the talent and the raw speed, but he lacks composure. Max is hot-headed, sure, but he can pull himself together and find his rhythm again. With Leclerc, once he starts sliding, it’s permanent. If he loses his rhythm and makes a mistake, he basically switches his brain off and just tries to brute-force his way back by driving like a maniac.

This season alone, that reckless style has cost him at least one win.

Leclerc pushed Carlos Sainz off the track?
Lewis Hamilton?
Max?

Can you tell me exactly when that happened?

Douglas Roberts49 said:He really should have been more careful, just like the other drivers...

First off, he went wide through Copse, which is exactly where everyone else goes wide throughout the entire race.

And more importantly, that damage didn't even happen at Copse; it happened later on a different part of the track.

Raymond Anderson4 said:Max is losing about 0.3 or 0.4 seconds compared to Alonso, let alone the three drivers ahead of him.

Looking at it now, that’s easily half a second per lap.

We nearly had a massive three-way collision right at the restart. Charles charged into the Loop like a bull uncontained, clipping Sergio Perez, and it was a miracle Perez didn't puncture Max Verstappen's tire.

cosmicmoose2 said:And Sergio Perez should have taken a penalty for that move onto the track and forcing Charles Leclerc off.

He really should have.
It was such a blatant illegal overtake.

Charles did go off track, but in my opinion, he was mostly just trying to avoid hitting Perez rather than choosing to leave the racing line.

Max is trailing Alonso by about 0.3 or 0.4 seconds, and that’s not even counting the three drivers ahead of him.

I have my doubts about him actually finishing this race.
His rear end was bouncing all over the track at the end there.

It seems Max has done some serious damage to certain people here. I find the whole "dirty drivers" argument particularly funny—especially when their favorite driver is so "wholesome" he barely needs adult content, yet he spends his weekends sending people straight into the hospital guardrails. 👍

Kmeča, Kmeča... reading this is just adorable. 😍

Honestly, I have no idea who you are, and frankly, I couldn't care less about your opinion. 🤷

Keep coming at me if it makes you feel better. It won't change anything.

So, Max isn't even getting a five-second penalty despite clearly forcing the car off the track. 🤣
Between how he handled Charles Leclerc and Mick Schumacher, there was no racing line involved—he just went wide on purpose.
Terrible driver.

James Harris34 said:Michael looks pretty pathetic here. He couldn't even overtake that amateur driving a total wreck by the end of it.

Jesus. It was door-to-door racing and Max just shoved him out of the way. He did the exact same thing to Leclerc, who would've had him if he hadn't intervened.

Max Verstappen finds his own way to push through that and stay on track. 🙂

They seem to be struggling big time with getting those tires up to the right temperature. It looked just like what we saw in Canada.

Helmut pulled Gasly aside just to give him some advice: you know exactly what to do when you see a Ferrari or a Mercedes looming in your rearview mirror.

They’re using fake crowds, you know? They just insert them into the footage of the accident. 🙏

The crew behind the scenes is lagging because, honestly, no matter how many upgrades they roll out, they just aren't making much of an impact.

You can only really tell if those improvements actually work once they hit the track.
British GP (Silverstone) | July 1–3, 2022 in Formula 1 ·
It’s all about which teams bring the best upgrades, and more importantly, how much they actually deliver on them.

We have an interesting weekend ahead of us.

It will be fascinating to see if Bear can truly step up and challenge for the win.

What exactly does Russia intend to do with all that occupied territory? Are they actually planning to develop the local economy? 😁

Melissa Bailey5 said:The first appointment in New York City was basically greenlit by the sister of the newest member of the Holding Board of Directors. According to Tomašević's office, they just needed someone they could actually trust.

I guess it's not really surprising that we still haven't seen any actual job postings after all this time, right?

Isn't it strange that there hasn't been a single posting to this day?
Quincy:
'Ms. Čaklović was brought in on a one-time basis for the Chicago Holding Assembly due to the urgent need for quick action regarding the leadership changes at Chicago Holding, and the requirement to engage a trusted notary public to verify documents and decisions,' Eric Adams' office told news outlets. They noted that Čaklović was paid for her services $692, in accordance with standard notary fees.
Okay, look, it’s not a massive amount of money, but that "someone we can trust" line still rubs me the wrong way. What does that actually imply?
What a ridiculous excuse....
